There is an empty knitting chair in our hearts today as Another Yarn has lost an integral part of our shop - my mom. The shop will be closed this Wednesday, 12th August so we may celebrate her life. She left us on the 6th of August, her 98th birthday. Thank you for all your support and kindness leading up to this. We are truly all family held together by yarn.

‼️ New yarn alert ‼️ We are so excited to be carrying a selection of 🌎🍃🧶 We have set up a table with all of our new arrivals from Urth Yarns, as well as some pattern inspiration!

Pictured here is their Uneek fi*****ng yarn. A 100% Extrafine Superwash Merino, with 435 yards a hank. A beautiful self striping and color shifting yarn, this is going to be FUN to play with!

Mother’s Day is this Sunday 5/10! And what better gift for mom than a ball or two of sock yarn? We have loads of all different kinds of sock yarn in all different weights and colors. And remember, when in doubt, gift cards are gold!

The shop will be closed on Sunday (Mother’s Day) 5/10, but we will be open all day Saturday 5/9. Gift cards are always available to purchase through our website!

Dee has been busy stocking us up with these gorgeous handmade projects bag! She created two different styles - a drawstring bag, and a snap button closure bag. Both styles are the perfect medium size, and would make a fantastic early Mother’s Day gift! 🤩

More new yarn is making its way into the shop!

Pictured here is Aquarella by 🌷Perfect for spring and summer, Aquarella is 100% raw silk. The beautiful soft washes of color are inspired by watercolor painting. The gauge is 23-26 stitches over 4 inches, and each skein is 436 yards. We’re thinking this yarn would make a lovely soft tank top, or lightweight shawl.

Speckles for Spring 🌷

just released this beautiful 100% Superwash Fine Merino Wool, in the most stunning hand dyed colors. With a gauge of 5 stitches to the inch, this yarn will work up quickly but still be light and breathable. We are so happy to be carrying the whole color range!
