Good morning...Hazel here...The countdown is on...in 20 days I will be retired as the owner of Peddlers Emporium...my merchandise took up about a 1/3 of the store...it's been on sale since August 1. I have definitely reduced the amount of inventory over the last 6 weeks...THERE IS LOTS OF GREAT STUFF LEFT...so come take a look before it is all packed and gone...

MOST IMPORTANTLY, the store IS NOT CLOSING. The new owner, Misty Walton, will be taking over October 1, 2026.

About my plans, I will be making a couple of trips during the first half of October. Once I get back from those, my husband and I will be putting our house on the market. After our home sells, we will be moving to Eastanollee, Georgia. (I will be back to visit because my daughter and 3 granddaughters are in this area.) I will mostly likely open another business in Toccoa, Georgia and expand my eBay store to include more than just Department 56 and Disney Collectibles. (I'm Indoor Village Exchange on eBay.)

Please continue to support this locally grown business. And right now, get in here and buy stuff, everything you buy is something I don't have to pack, LOL! And come in just to say bye.

The countdown is on..... Dept. 56 Village buildings are going back in their boxes, then those boxes are being packed, other treasures are being packed daily...Hazel will be exiting the building on September 30 but merchandise is being packed daily to go into storage. Come get the 1/2 price treasures while you can. Once it's packed it's not coming back out.
