After 32 years, it's time to close this chapter.
For decades, The Book Parlor has been more than just a bookstore. It has been a place to wander, to discover, to visit with friends, to introduce children to their first favorite stories, and to lose track of time among the shelves. My own children were raised within these walls, making this farewell all the more bittersweet.
Even our little dinosaur has faithfully guarded the kids' section for decades and has officially been relieved of duty. 🦕
To every customer, every family, and every child who grew into an adult and came back with children of their own—thank you.
Thank you for making The Book Parlor a part of your lives and for allowing us to be a part of yours. It has been an incredible honor to share in your stories, your milestones, and your love of books and home décor. We are deeply grateful for the memories we've made together and for the community created within these walls.
While the lights may be turning off, the memories made here will live on in every book that found its way home.
