Do you remember the carnivals or fairs? They came in the fall when the air was getting crisp and the days short. It had a distinct smell like a cross between old grease and caramel corn , but it was good. Good times.... innocent and fun! Remember the prizes.... if you are old enough these were the most desirable things you could win....Chalk art... mostly gaudy painted banks....but boy were we proud of them.
