We had Double the Good news from the courts today!
🚨 Florida Appeals Court Strikes Down Concealed Carry Age Restrictions
A Florida appeals court ruled that the state's ban on concealed carry for law-abiding adults ages 18 to 20 violates the Second Amendment.
The unanimous decision found that legal adults in this age group are part of the same "political community" as other adults and should not be denied the right to armed self-defense based solely on age.
🔹 The court ruled that restricting concealed carry for 18- to 20-year-olds is unconstitutional.
🔹 Judges noted that 18-year-olds can vote, serve in the military, and take on other adult responsibilities, yet were denied the same self-defense rights as older adults.
This is another example of how often gun laws can change—and how complicated they are.
