Hey y’all! After a super busy (and wonderful!) holiday season, winter, and spring, it’s almost time for my summer break for my shop! I will be closing for the season on May 1st and I will reopen on Labor Day! Until May 1st, all items on my shop are 15% off.

Thank you so much for making my little dream a reality. Your support and purchases help us pay for my cancer treatment and I’m so thankful.

I have my first grandbaby due later this year and gardening to enjoy this summer while I undergo chemotherapy, so a break is much needed. I will have new fun stuff ready for the fall and holidays when I reopen in September.

Commissions are always open, so if you have something I can knit, sew, sculpt, paint, or create for you, please reach out! I will be posting items through the summer, but they won’t be available for purchase until I reopen in the fall.

I am happy to recreate this piece for you or make something all new for any friends you might want to welcome to your garden. I do seal outdoor work with polyurethane to improve its durability.

I can honestly say that this is true. As I navigate treatment for my stage 4 breast cancer as well as t-AML (treatment related Acute Myeloid Leukemia), my work and shop have given me a focus other than cancer. 49 days ago, I started a project that is super important to me. I started knitting the Norwegian resistance hat as a way to stand up and speak out in a really historically meaningful way. 49 days later, I have knitted and shipped 92 hats. I have knitted and shipped 37 mini bag clip versions of the hat. I am so proud to have donated proceeds to both the ILCM and the ACLU.

This project and cause is so much bigger than me. It’s such an important part of the resistance. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it and to support all of you. My final shipments go out tomorrow and I can’t help but feel both proud and a little sad.

On a personal note, I start a dangerous and intensive chemotherapy protocol on Monday for my leukemia, so I am thrilled that I was able to get all of your orders out and on their way ahead of that. Thank you for supporting my shop and my dream.

I do still have hats and bag clips available on my shop should you still need one. Once I am able, I will be adding other pieces of resistance art and knitted pieces to my shop, so please check back often!
