Pantry Thrift Store Operated by Community Food Pantry of Butler, a 501(c)(3) non-profit Directions - Approaching Butler from the North on I-49 - take Exit 131 (2nd Butler exit).

Turn left (east) on Hwy 52 West also known as W. Ft Scott St. Drive east 8/10ths of a mile to the second stop light. Turn right (south) at the stoplight on to Business 49 also known as S. Orange St. Drive south 8/10ths of a mile to Outer Road. Turn left on Outer Road and you will see us in a metal building. Directions - Approaching Butler from the South on I-49. take Exit 130 and Outer Road is right at the end of the exit ramp. Turn right on Outer Road and you will see us in a metal building.

Is anyone able to use these office partitions? We will give them to you but you will need some muscle and a truck to move them. They are heavy. There are 3 sections. One big one still attached to a smaller one. The bigger section measures 44 x 64. The two smaller sections are 30 x 64. You can pick these up at the Community Food Pantry Of Butler call or text Renée 816 518 5401.

An update from Devyn Hare, Executive Director, BCI :

Bates County Industries is a non-profit organization that provides meaningful job opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

We aim to keep the thrift store and we will be incorporating individuals with disabilities as employees to help run it. This gives our individuals opportunities in which their skills can further be developed.

We see the importance of the thrift store continuing in our community and we hope to have your continued support as we embark on a new adventure with our employees!

The Thrift Store is now closed until further notice. Bates County Industries will be taking over operations as the new owners. The may be closed for 2 to 3 weeks while they get set up. Please watch for their announcement. In the meantime, please hold donations until they ask for you to resume. It's been our pleasure to serve this community and we will continue to do so via the Community Food Pantry Of Butler . We will continue to post news here. Please follow our Food Pantry page as well.

We have this wonderful set of Metlox 'Poppytrail' dishes. Made in California during the pottery movement in the 1940s and 50s. It includes serving dishes, plates, bowls, cups and saucers and a large platter. There are a couple pieces with chips. Overall, it is in really good condition. Come check it out. 43 pieces $125 or best offer.
