This could be your art!🎨🖼️ 👨‍🎨 We are looking for 4 more pieces of art by children and teens to fill our new gallery!

The theme is: create a portrait of your favorite book character👤 Art must be 8.5”x11” or smaller to fit in a frame, and submissions must be turned in by this Saturday the 12th! If we receive more than 10 submissions total, we will put the next batch up starting in October!🍂 Thank you to our amazing young artists who have already turned in their creations!🖌️

The annual Byron Center Fall Market is BACK and we're looking for vendors!🍁🍂 Join our little town in celebrating the fall season on October 24th with local crafters, food & beverages, and cozy shops!🛍️

This market will stretch from the main 84th Street shops in downtown to Byron Center Meats (who is having their big customer appreciation sale!) and into the back parking lot of Huntington bank!

***Please note that the baked goods category is extremely competitive. We are also looking for a local pumpkin farmer!🎃

How about a little renovation sneak peak?👀😉 We’re only ✨16 DAYS AWAY✨ from the big reveal of our store expansion!!!🥳

This summer has flown by… It’s been filled with a lot of long days, restless nights, and a whirlwind of decision-making. There’s always that little voice in the back of my brain questioning everything… “What if people don’t like it? What if it was too big of an investment? What if the party bombs? What if, what if, what if…”

But I keep stamping that voice down because I PROMISE, this expansion is going to be amazing. I didn’t think I could love my store more than I already do, but this extra space is going to take everything to the next level. I’m SO excited to share this with our customers!!!

- Set Sail for Pancakes!🥞 Margot and her grandpa have a hankering for pancakes, but are missing the ingredients! They set sail for Chicken Island, Cow Island, and Flour Mill Island to collect them!

- Grilled Cheese, Yes Please!🥪 Margot is waiting for her mother to return to make grilled cheese together, but when a storm brings many other seafarers in to their home, she discovers the importance of community!

Rest in peace, sweet Dolly, the queen of country music.

Dolly Parton also founded the Imagination Library, a book gifting program that mails books to children in five different countries including the United States. 330 million free books have been distributed to children through this program since its inception in 1995. Thank you, Dolly, for everything you have contributed to children’s literacy by widening access to books and inspiring kids to fall in love with reading.
