Next weekend, the big table officially gets put to work. 🌿

Friday night, it’ll be covered in buckets of flowers.

Saturday morning, the kids take over with flowers, dirt and pollinators.

Saturday afternoon, we’re filling the porch pots.

These are the first three workshops at Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio, and registration for them closes tomorrow, September 11, so I can get everyone’s flowers, plants and supplies ready.

🌸 Cut, Condition & Create
Friday, Sept. 18 • 6:30–8 PM • $60
Come spend Friday night playing with flowers. I’ll show you how I prep and condition stems, choose what works together, and build those loose, garden-y bouquets you’ve seen come out of Sassy Sprigs. You’ll leave with your own wrapped bouquet—and probably a favorite flower you didn’t know you had.

🐝 Saturday Sprouts: Pollinator Pot
Saturday, Sept. 19 • 10–11 AM or 11 AM–12 PM
$30/project • $15 additional sibling project
The little sprigs get their turn at the table with a hands-on look at flowers, bees and butterflies before planting their own pollinator pot to take home.

🌿 Fall Porch Planter
Saturday, Sept. 19 • 1–3 PM • $95
We’re going BIG for our first Sassy Saturday. You’ll build a full fall porch planter with cool-season color, foliage, height and trailing texture—and learn how to put one together so it keeps looking good well beyond workshop day.

So if you’ve been trying to decide which chair around the table has your name on it, tomorrow is decision day.

Registration closes Friday so I can trade my laptop for a shopping list and start getting everything ready for you. 🌸

Workshop registration: link in comments.

And then we get to do the fun part. 🌿

Someone has to make the Friday night plans. Apparently, it’s me. 🌸😂

You know that friend you keep saying you need to get together with?

Send her this.

Next Friday, I’m filling the big table at Sassy Sprigs with buckets of seasonal flowers, putting out the snips and snacks, and turning you loose on them.

I’ll show you how I prep and condition flowers, choose what works together, and get that loose, garden-y Sassy Sprigs look.

Then you get to play.

Pick your stems. Change your mind. Move that one flower six times. Become weirdly attached to the prettiest stem in the bucket. Admire what the person beside you is doing. Eat a snack. Move the flower again.

And somewhere in there, you and that friend you’ve been meaning to see **finally got together.**

🌸 Cut, Condition & Create
Friday, September 18 • 6:30–8 PM
Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio • Byron
$60 • Everything included

I made the plan. Now send this to whoever you want sitting beside you. 💐

Registration is at the link in bio.

So… what are we doing Friday night? 🌸

It's one of those questions that somehow gets harder to answer as an adult.

You want to get out. You want to see your friends. You'd love to try something different. Then somebody has to figure out what, make the plan, coordinate everybody, and suddenly three weeks have passed. 😂

So I'll make the plan.

Friday, September 18. 6:30 PM. Flowers at Sassy Sprigs.

Text the friend you've been meaning to catch up with. Bring your mom or your sister. Make it a date night. Or grab a seat and see who you end up talking to across the table.

I'll fill the Studio with seasonal flowers, put out the snips and snacks, and teach you how I turn all those stems into the loose, garden-y bouquets you've seen come out of Sassy Sprigs.

You'll pick your flowers, change your mind approximately seventeen times, learn a few tricks, probably become emotionally attached to one particularly good stem, and leave carrying the bouquet you made.

That's Cut, Condition & Create, our first Sprigs After Hours.

🌸 Friday, September 18 • 6:30–8 PM

And if your Saturday morning plans involve a much smaller human, Saturday Sprouts: Pollinator Pot registration is open too. 🐝🌱

Kids will spend an hour digging, planting and learning what all those bees and butterflies are doing in the garden—then head home with their own pollinator pot.

Saturday, September 19 • 10–11 AM or 11 AM–12 PM
Ages 4+ • $30/project • additional sibling project $15

🌱 Introducing Sprig Scholars

Funny enough, this wasn’t actually part of the original plan for the Garden Studio.

A local homeschool mom sent me an email asking if I would consider offering a weekly gardening class for homeschool kids.

I read it and thought… well, why aren’t we doing that?

Two emails later, Sprig Scholars was born. 😂🌱

Sprig Scholars: Where curious kids dig into how things grow.

Beginning this month, our Scholars will spend 10 weeks getting their hands dirty while learning what’s actually happening in the garden—not just making something cute to take home.

We’ll plant, propagate, experiment, observe and build our way through topics like pollinators, growing food, carnivorous plants, bulbs, birds and the little ecosystems happening all around us.

📚 Ages 5–12
🌿 Thursdays, 4:30–5:30 PM
📍 Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio — Byron
🌱 10-week semester
💐 $300 first child | $275 siblings
✏️ Minimum of 6 Scholars required for the class to begin

One email asking, “Would you ever consider…?”

Apparently that’s all it takes around here. 😂

I’m so excited to see what our first little group of Sprig Scholars grows into. 💚

Watch your email tomorrow evening 👀🌱

The first round of Sassy Sprigs workshops is opening for registration — with first access going to those who have Joined the Sass. 💐

And tucked into that email will be something else I’ve been waiting to share…

A special invitation for those of you who want to be a little more connected to Sassy Sprigs — beyond a workshop here and there. 🌱💕

You’ll get the details tomorrow evening. 📨

✨Question✨

Would you prefer:

🌸Each workshop open to reserve 2 weeks prior

or

🌹Open all of them now and close one week prior to the event?

We have limited space so it worries me that you won't be able to see them fast enough if I only open 2 weeks prior.

🌿 The Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio is opening — and our first season of workshops is officially on the calendar! 🌸

I’ve wanted the Studio to be more than a place to shop. I wanted a place where we could actually do things together — work with flowers, get our hands in the dirt, learn something new, make something beautiful, and have a reason to get out of the house for a couple of hours.

So this fall, there are two ways to join us at the table:

🌸 SPRIGS AFTER HOURS
Fridays • 6:30–8:00 PM • $60–$75

These are our Friday-night workshops: 90 minutes, all materials included, light refreshments, and a finished project to take home.

Sept. 18 • Cut, Condition & Create — $60
Learn how to properly harvest, condition, and arrange seasonal flowers, then create your own hand-tied bouquet to take home.

Sept. 25 • Mason Jar Flower Frog Night — $60
We’ll use a mason jar fitted with a flower-frog lid to learn an entirely different way to arrange locally grown seasonal blooms.

Oct. 2 • Harvest & Herbs — $60
Build a three-herb container while learning how to choose herbs that grow well together, harvest them, and keep them productive.

Oct. 23 • Pot & Pour: Cool-Season Porch Pot — $65
Create a fall outdoor container with pansies/violas, seasonal foliage and trailing texture while learning the basics of balanced container design.

Nov. 6 • Pretty Enough to Eat — $60
Flowers can be useful and pretty. We’ll combine edible flowers and culinary herbs into a container designed for both the garden and the kitchen.

Nov. 20 • The Thanksgiving Table — $65
Turn an uncut pumpkin into a botanical Thanksgiving centerpiece using dried flowers, grasses, foliage and natural textures.

Dec. 4 • Evergreen After Hours — $70
Fresh evergreens take over the Studio as we learn how to work with, layer, and secure seasonal greenery for a beautiful holiday project.

Dec. 11 • Deck the Porch — $75
Build a lush vertical door swag from fresh evergreens, then finish it with ribbon, pinecones and seasonal botanical accents.

Dec. 18 • Christmas by Candlelight — $65
Our final Friday night of the year! Create a low evergreen and floral centerpiece centered around a candle glow — made for the Christmas table.

🌿 SASSY SATURDAYS
Select Saturdays • 1:00–3:00 PM • $90–$100

Sassy Saturdays are our bigger projects. We’ll have two full hours, more substantial materials, and a larger finished piece to take home.

Sept. 19 • Fall Porch Planter — $95
Build a large living porch planter filled with cool-season color, foliage, height and trailing texture.

Oct. 24 • Everlasting Pumpkin — $90
Transform a real, uncut pumpkin into a statement piece using dried flowers, grasses, foliage and natural materials.

Nov. 14 • Spring in Waiting: Bulb Lasagna — $95
Layer multiple varieties of spring-flowering bulbs at different depths inside a substantial outdoor container. It won’t look like much when you leave — but just wait until it wakes up. 🌷

Dec. 5 • Fresh Holiday Wreath — $100
We’re building this one from the frame up. Learn to bundle and layer fresh evergreen into a full-size wreath, then finish it with ribbon, pinecones, berries and botanical accents.

✨ All workshops include the project materials, instruction and light refreshments. No experience is needed.

And because I need enough time to order the right amount of supplies without filling the Studio with leftovers, registration will open two weeks before each workshop. Space is limited, so keep an eye on the page as each registration window opens. Join the Sass to receive first dibs at registration.

The first tickets — Cut, Condition & Create on September 18 and Fall Porch Planter on September 19 — will open September 4.

I am ridiculously excited to finally have a place where we can do all of this together. 💗🌿
