Practical Magic Witches, look at this cute set! One for you and one or more for your friends. Who’s all going to the movie?

Even though the herbs used often in the movie and in The Owen’s Sisters Apothecary are Lavender, Sage and Rosemary, I also added Rose Geranium, Plum, Fig, and Black Licorice to the Hand Cream. It smells just like you would imagine a witches kitchen to smell like in the fall with bowls of ripe fruit, sweetness of Licorice, and herbs from the garden.

For the Lip Balm: Mango Butter, Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, Plum, Fig, and Black Licorice. Those last three essential oils are actually blends. Like the Black Licorice is Anise and Vanilla.

The Tea turns purple, you can brew it in the large tea bag in the moonlight or the sun, and it tastes fruity.

The soap is Lavender, Sage, and Rosemary made custom for The Healing Shop by Two Tree Soaps.

I don’t have these cute house gift boxes yet, but they are on their way. For winter gift giving I ordered Gingerbread houses, Toy Shop, and a house with a winter scene.

I will be adding these individual items or the gift set on the website tomorrow.

Beautiful vegan soaps just arrived!

Each bar’s base is a blend of Coconut, Olive, Sunflower, Castor, and Sweet Almond Oil, and Shea Butter. All the colors are from herbs and clays. All of the scents are from Essential Oils only, no fragrances.

Pumpkin Spice: Uses Turmeric for color, EO of Cardamom, Orange, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger, Tangerine, and Nutmeg.

Ruby Waves: Of course I got this so I can give one to Ruby for her birthday. The Beauty of Autumn in shades of deep maroon & glowing orange. EO is patchouli, Cedarwood, Orange and Eucalyptus.

Sweater Weather: Uses Kaolin Clay, Activated Charcoal, Spirulina, and Kaolin for color. Isn’t this one a pretty color? It’s smells fresh and minty.

Timber: Is great for men and women. It has an earthy warmth of an Autumn forest, Scents of Cedarwood and fresh herbs mingles with fallen leaves and weathered wood.

Vintage woods and Moonlit Moss have been here many times, now they are restocked and I got extra of the Moonlit Moss.

I haven’t made deodorant in a while but all of a sudden this week it was bought out except for the unscented. If you want a certain smell that you love tell me what it is and we can use an unscented bottle and add that scent to it.

Today I made a fresh scent that people love any time of the year. Cypress, Juniper Berry, and Jasmine. My deodorant is also an antiperspirant but without blocking pores that you usually get with creams and gels. It contains ingredients known to help stop too much moisture and may help with odor.

Aloe, Magnesium, Colloidal Silver, Vegetable Glycerin and plant oils.

You will start noticing the logo of “The Healing Shop” instead of the Apothecary name because while studying proper labeling, rules and laws for our state, I found one cannot use the word “Apothecary” unless you are a licensed pharmacist.

I also found that you cannot mix teas from your home and sell them to stores. I have to have a license to blend teas here at the shop, but since I will be moving my workshop to my home, I either have to install a 3 part sink, a separate hand washing sink, and it needs to be plumbed to the septic system, or I will need to find a licensed kitchen that already has this equipment to wash my scoop and bowl while blending.

If someone doesn’t know this, like I didn’t know about the “Apothecary” name it’s an innocent mistake but I feel if one does know but doesn’t follow those guidelines it brings a negative energy to the products.

I bring this up because I have a separate page for Ancient Thymes Apothecary, but will be deleting it. Since The Healing Shop has gotten to be a well known name I will continue using that since I won’t be selling the store. Keeping the website with that name will be less confusing for my online shoppers and to be sold on another platform.

Labor Day is about enjoying time off and for those that fought for fair work hours. For me it’s celebrating that I can choose whatever career I want where once women weren’t allowed. And being thankful that I have customers who make that possible.

So to thank you I’m giving a free channeled message today. This isn’t the normal 10 min drop in session, it’s one quick message that comes through me to give to you.

The reason for the plant picture is I first began channeling with plants. Household plants on a windowsill that telepathically told me they needed water. Thinking at first I was going crazy I ignored it until every time I passed them it got louder and louder and after I watered them I didn’t hear it again. This is a thing we all can do, but it happened to show me that I had a special connection to plants and trees just like natives do and it’s how we learned about first plant medicines. I’m putting in an order for houseplants since I will be moving in 11 days and I want new plants for the house. I will be getting many to sell here at the shop. (I have to buy 3-6 of each kind)Look for the next post.

I’m also serving Friends and Family Sun tea today. The shop is also filled with sales.

Everyone’s loving the Cardamom Hand Cream so much that I decided to make a gift set to include 3 products. You may purchase separately as well.I forgot to add the lip balm but for another $5.75 you can add one.

The set will have the large size Hand Cream, I will have more of both sizes for tomorrow. This is already the fourth batch I’ve made. A full size 8 oz jar of Foaming Shower Scrub, and a 2 oz body spray. This way you can layer this delicious scent that is a blend of Cardamom, Vanilla, Allspice, and Vetiver. Do you know our room sprays are so clean and nontoxic that you can use them as a body spray as well? So go ahead and scent your car or pillows with this scent too!

This coming Thursday Pumpkin Butter hand cream and lip balm will be available!

After hundreds of feet pattered throughout the shop yesterday making it the 3rd busiest day this year, I had to refresh the space. Using a smudging practice by burning sage and opening windows then adding herb oils to our nontoxic biodegradable floor wash the place feels and smells fresh again.

Do you have a lot of company this weekend? Are you ready to do your fall cleaning? I’ve noticed the spiders are appearing, no need to kill them just deter them so they stay outside. Spiders don’t like mint, Rosemary, or Lemongrass so that has been added to this floor wash along with Tea Tree to purify. Doing a ritual means being in the moment and saying or imagining any residual energy not wanted is replaced with Love. High frequencies have been added to this bottle. Share with me after doing your floor wash how light it feels in your space.

Don’t you just love the natural look of this basket? I’ve always been drawn to natural papers, glass jars with an organic looking label probably because when I or anyone else sees that look they assume it is natural. If the company is using a plastic bright colored look they must not think about the waste involved after that product is done. I bet when you turn it over and look at the label it contains probably more artificial color in the product and maybe even toxic fragrances. I never assume though as I have seen natural looking products at big box stores who are hoping to make you think they are natural but reading the label it’s the same as the bright colored ones. Always look at the label.

It’s also more tasteful to gift someone something that is upscale and they will actually feel good about using. I’ve noticed even teens now growing up in this time preferring natural based and looking products. Tik Tok has really helped educate that generation, and it’s wonderful to see their passion on wanting their planet clean along with their bodies.

Enough about that, I have two new tea blends ready for tomorrow, and they smell amazing! These are both black teas, and were made up by The whistling Kettle, but I bought bulk so I could make us smaller bags.

I’ve been so out of it that I didn’t realize it’s Labor Day weekend. I looked at the weather and see there is a good chance of rain on Monday, so I’ve decided to open up the shop!

This weekend is a good time to come in and get real maple syrup for your pancake breakfast or raw Honey for your tea as they are 40% off!

I will be replenishing my teas tonight but I wanted to point out these specialty blends. If you like the smell of a smokey campfire, this campfire blend is a perfect morning cup with a rustic smoke flavor due to smoking of the tea leaves, or try the S’mores Toffee Crunch if you’re a black tea drinker and like a bit of sweetness.

Crystal grab bags will be available all weekend as well!
