I wanted to make something extra special to have for this full moon and my last day. I made 12 bottles of Sacred Moon Oil. I’m taking one for myself. if you feel called to be one of the 11 to get one you can pick one up tomorrow or let me know to save or mail you a bottle.

The intent with this bottle is to first write a letter to yourself of how you want this next year to go. Samhain is known as the witches New Year, so you can begin using this tomorrow on the full moon and every full moon until October 2027 or on the 31st of every month. This is a large enough bottle to do a monthly ritual for 12 months of visualizing how you want this year to go. While meditating anoint yourself by dropping drops on all of your chakras and massaging in, add to bath water, or on your third eye before bed.

I save certain oils for special products like this. I also used the highest frequency flower oils that I have. Rose, Blue Lotus and Neroli. I also dropped in oils from the Emotional blends by DoTerra, and added florals and fruits to make this blend more light amd especially for the 6th and 7th chakras I left out grounding oils, no barks or root oils in this blend. Crystals of clear quartz, rose quartz and amethyst are inside as well as rose petals and blue lotus petals. They will be charged by the full moon early tomorrow morning.

You will notice the label says Mystic Oil and Master Oil. If you’re wanting to master a skill or learn more about mystics or already are one then this is the oil for you. These cute boxes are for the first 20 to come shop tomorrow. The only thing I ask is if you come as a family that you take only one box. There is a coupon for 15% off next purchase or online (has a code) and I want as many people from different families to enjoy that.

I picked up pumpkin bars and all of the ingredients to make sandwiches and chips tomorrow. I will be baking the croissants in the morning so they are fresh, and there’s an assortment of chips and pita,mostly organic for the different dips. Strawberry lemonade, punch (with no soda) and hot chocolate will be our drinks.

I’m working on a very special bottle of sacred body oil and they will be set outside in the full moon very early tomorrow morning. I will share more on the product and intent tonight.

How can it be almost 4PM already? I have so much to do!

On this day last year I was doing a photo shoot that my friend Abbey orchestrated hiring a photographer that a group of women pitched in for. I didn’t know then that I would be preparing for my final day party. I really thought I would be behind my counter serving the community and guests in our town of Cable until I was in my 70’s.

Deep within something was stirring within me. I began to write a book about a witch moving to a small town to start an Apothecary and some of the towns people didn’t want to accept her, based on real life stories of who she encountered how she became accepted, how some things got worse and the last chapter of her finding seclusion in a cabin in the woods where people would come to get her medicine and she would heal them.

Attending a writers workshop by Hayhouse we had to take post it notes and write out each chapter. My last chapter was finding that cabin in the woods. I had no idea that would become reality.

Those post it notes became a vision board, even the bad chapters. To make a story exciting you exaggerate the drama, unfortunately that also came true for me.

Competition, miscommunication and misunderstanding can lead to gossip and untruths. All I want to say about this is, I don’t post to put anyone down for how they live their lives, how they run their business, and what choices they make. My focus is educating people on what may possibly be making them sick, providing remedies and what they may want to stay away from, because I truly care when I see someone suffering.

The information I provide some will value it and it’s helped them and some will disagree and may even unfollow. That’s okay we all are at where we are and each business will have a different audience based on where they are at.

I’ve gained over 3,000 followers not because I bought them, I have no idea how to do that or probably couldn’t afford to do that. Notice I also follow a lot of businesses, I found groups that support each other and we follow one another.

Time to prepare for tomorrow, I hope to see some of you!

A week ago I watched this podcast from my favorite health source and learned a lot about addictions, and what the brain needs to help break them.

We’ve been thought from many social media non experts that our brains need a lot of fat, that our muscles need a lot of protein. The brain is made out of glycogen storage. People with addictions need to replenish that. Fruit, certain herbs, and some supplements will feed your brain to help break those addictions easier.

An addiction is due to adrenaline. Lack of glucose and toxic heavy metals are the main causes of being addicted to that adrenaline.

Certain herbs were mentioned that contain compounds to help your brain. If you would like a list of the supplements to add to it just message me. Ive added the herbs in this tea.

With alcohol addiction adding dates and dried mango. Food addiction you should have spinach daily, leafy greens and a lot of fruit. Fruit contains the right sugar, regular sugar doesn’t get to the brain. Once you start giving the right carbs from enough fruit you will feel you have less cravings for other sweets.

Count Down, two more days!

It was slower today so I still have tea and towels left and a couple of Face Creams, so we will do the same giveaway of spend $20 and get a towel and tea or a face cream.

I just started thinking about the 20 bags I need to make for the first 20 who check out on Monday. Since I had to make more of the Cardamom Spice Hand Cream, I’m adding in a 1 ounce tin in each bag. I will also have a face wash, a coupon, candy, 3 more surprises and a couple of bags will have extras, like pens from the shop, practical magic tea and lip balm.

Anti-inflammatory tea has been made again.

I’m heading in the garage now to pull some things for free into the lawn. Because I didn’t have time to go through the whole garage I will just keep putting things outside unless it’s something that can’t get wet. You can drive by even tonight and take what you want!

Another product that will be available Hayward Barber Shop is our best selling Muscle Rub. Evan is picking it up tomorrow so if you’re in Hayward he will have it there for you starting next week.

Because I will only be available one morning a week, I made more of the 8 oz glass pump bottle, to last you longer. Many have come in with their 4 oz empty tins for refill, unfortunately I won’t be able to do that on a regular basis. But if you’re passionate like me about reusing your bottles and tins so they don’t end up in the landfill, I will, during summer months have certain refill days, so if you have room save them. If you’re going to recycle they need to be washed out until there isn’t any product left in them.

As you know I like to be as plastic free as possible, it’s not just because it doesn’t break down in a landfill it’s because when you use essential oils especially the ones used in muscle rub like Eucalyptus, or any mints, or cinnamon the oils will start breaking down the plastic and now it’s leaching into your products that gets put on your skin and absorbed into your body. So what about the plastic pump inside the bottle? You will notice that tube is a lot thicker a chemical resistant number 1, and number 2. It can’t be recycled but you can reuse it. This won’t be affected by stronger oils.

Organic Rose petals of pink and red from two different farms have made this high frequency Rose water. There is also Rose Otto essential oil, some witch hazel and an important ingredient Optiphen Plus.

Whenever you purchase a spray or anything with water and it sits on a store shelf it must have a preservative so it doesn’t mold. There are a number of natural preservatives like this one, Radish Root Ferment and Geogard 222 that I use.

For those sensitive to mold or even if you aren’t and you want a safe product look at the label, is there a preservative listed? Supporting small local businesses is what makes our communities thrive, but those businesses also need the knowledge of protecting you. I’ve even made that mistake and didn’t put enough in one batch, so I quickly checked the recipe and adjusted. I want my products to be know as natural, safe from toxins but also safe from “germs” and molds.

Building a new Apothecary where my products will continue to be made will have its own space away from my own home kitchen.

Also a “best by” date should be on the bottle, I put out a year even though it could last longer but I don’t know where my customer is keeping that product. Cool and away from sun is the best to keep your product longer, hopefully you love it so much it’s used up before the best by date.

So enjoy the scent of roses during our long winters which is especially helpful for those that suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) Inhaling pure rose scent daily will grow your brain matter within 30 days.

I only had two face creams left for the free gift today, it was wonderful seeing returning friends and customers and enjoying your company!
