It’s 3:12 as I type this, and the Dragon Wagon closes at 4:00 PM!

Which means you have LESS THAN ONE HOUR to come see Mother Dragon, wander through the book hoard, and leave with something you absolutely did not plan on buying. 😂📚

Mother Nature has apparently chosen violence today, and the poor little AC that could is fighting for its LIFE inside the Dragon Wagon. 🥵

So yes—it’s a little warmer in here than usual. I know. I apologize. We’re doing our best.

I know. I KNOW. I normally post gorgeous books because they're available in the Dragon Wagon, so I'm getting that disclaimer out of the way immediately.

This one belongs to Mother Dragon. 💅🐉

Now that we've established that… I have a question.

What is THE book for you?

You know the one. That one elusive, gorgeous special edition that if you ever got the chance to own it, there would be no hesitation. No pretending you have self-control. You'd just immediately think:

Outlander is one of my all-time favorites, and this is genuinely my dream book.

Mother Dragon spends an awful lot of time hunting down treasures for everyone else's hoard, so every once in a while… I'm keeping one. 😂🐉💜

HOWEVER…

Because apparently I am incapable of finding something amazing without immediately thinking, “My Dragonlings need one too…”

First of all… LOOK AT THIS COVER. 😍 The soft purple illustrations against the cream with those torn sections?! I was intrigued before I even knew what it was about.

And then I read the synopsis. 👀

Paris, 1789. Sisters Lara and Sofi begin working at a factory famous for creating beautiful, intricately illustrated wallpaper. But hidden among those idyllic scenes is something unsettling: the same woman appears over and over again.

The woman is believed to be the factory owner's late wife, who died under mysterious circumstances.

Then Lara begins noticing something even stranger…

Her own life seems to be mirroring the scenes depicted in the wallpaper. 😳

All of this unfolds while the French Revolution is erupting around them, blending historical fiction, psychological suspense, mystery, and a touch of the gothic into one seriously atmospheric story.

Basically: mysterious death + creepy wallpaper + possible repeating fate + French Revolution.

Okay, Dragonlings, this one is SO COOL. 😍
The Storyteller’s Almanac by Elise Hurst is a gorgeous wordless picture book filled with 50 detailed illustrations featuring mythical creatures, mysterious forests, curious characters, and all kinds of imaginative adventures.

But here’s the best part…

There are no words. YOU get to tell the story. 🥹📖

Every time you open it, you can create an entirely different tale based on what you see. Kids can make up their own characters, decide what’s happening, figure out where everyone is going, and tell the story completely in their own way. And honestly? I feel like this would be just as fun for adults and kids to do together.

One picture could become a sweet bedtime story one night and an absolutely unhinged dragon adventure the next. 😂🐉

We may have gotten a little carried away with this one.

Somewhere inside the Drowsy Dragon, a Golden Ticket is waiting to be found. But if you want it, you're going to have to earn it.
