Remember to stop by Gap Mercantile in Caddo Gap tomorrow morning June 20th (Saturday) at 10:00 am for fried pies and several other crafted items by Abby Moore and her family. Small town country fun with an old-fashioned general store, ice cream, soda pop—and bluegrass music! It’s "Music at Gap Mercantile" tonight in the yard of Gap Mercantile at 35 Vaught Street, Caddo Gap, AR. This outdoor performance is free to the public and starts at 7:00 pm so bring a lawn chair. The rain this morning should be clearing out by the afternoon in preparation for a cool evening's concert, so come on out!

Don’t forget…bluegrass music in Caddo Gap tomorrow (Friday evening June 12th) featuring the McWilliams Family Bluegrass Band. This outdoor performance is free to the public and starts at 7:00 pm in the yard of Gap Mercantile at 35 Vaught Street, Caddo Gap, AR, so bring a lawn chair. The mercantile will stay open late for shopping as well as soda pop, ice cream, popcorn, and retro candies! (They're calling for rain in the AM and clearing up in the afternoon, so come on out and enjoy the cool evening.)

An old-fashioned evening of bluegrass music in Caddo Gap! Come this Friday night (June12th) to Gap Mercantile for "Music at Gap Mercantile" featuring the McWilliams Family Bluegrass Band. The performance is free to the public and starts at 7:00 pm in the yard of the mercantile at 35 Vaught Street, Caddo Gap, AR, so bring a lawn chair. The store will stay open late for shopping as well as soda pop, ice cream, popcorn, and retro candies! (At the moment it looks like rain in the morning and clearing by the afternoon/evening so we're going ahead with the concert, but keep checking back here for weather updates)

It’s time for "Music at Gap Mercantile" next Friday evening, June 12th at 7:00 pm so bring a lawn chair. The McWilliams Family Bluegrass band will be performing a free concert on the lawn of Gap Mercantile, and the store will remain open throughout the evening for snacks and refreshments. Stop by today (Saturday) and watch for a little while as blacksmith, Matt Hughes, teaches a beginner's workshop to a few students. Also our other regional blacksmith's from the Rich Mountain Blacksmith's Guild are present to sell some very handy articles they've crafted locally. Check out their knives, pokers, hangers, and very nice hand-forged camping gear they have for sale. That's all happening today at Gap Mercantile, 35 Vaught Street, Caddo Gap AR.

Come sew with me! (Lynna) May 19th and 20th from 10:00 to 2:00. Reach out to us through messenger to register for the class. Space is limited, so save your spot soon! Registration needed by this Saturday May 16th.

Projects include making a burrito style pillow case on day one and an apron on day two. Learn how to thread the machine and go over basic sewing skills while working on the projects. Cost for the two day class is $80.00, fabric will be included.

Basic sewing supplies are needed and are listed below. Bring your own machine or use the one provided.
Supplies to bring: Scissors (that can cut fabric), pins (glass head recommended) and pin cushion, seam ripper, sewing machine measuring tape, and thread if you’re bringing your own machine. See less
