New Cigar Alert 🚨 ⚠️ 📢

As with the rest of the San Cristobal line-up, the new San Cristobal Golden Hour is made by the García family at their My Father Ci**rs S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Blend-wise, Golden Hour uses a Cuban-seed wrapper from Ecuador over a variety of Nicaraguan to***cos from Condega, Estelí, Jalapa and Namanji. All of the Nicaraguan to***cos come from the García family farms. A press release described the blend as medium-full with flavors of “cedar, cinnamon, coffee bean, molasses, and spice.”

New Cigar Alert 🚨 ⚠️ 📢

A classic looking perfecto shaped cigar, it was covered with a slightly reddish, oily wrapper. The pre-light nose and cold draw taste had heavy floral notes with a touch of vanilla. Given the shape, it naturally had a slightly snug draw in the beginning, which did open some as the cigar reached the full girth of the ring gauge.

The flavor and aroma were very similar to the pre-light notes, with the addition of cedar, white pepper and a citrus zing. The aroma had a slightly sweet and rich, fermented to***co note with a mouthwatering texture in the taste. Spices eventually lingered in the back of the throat and in the taste.
