Four years ago the Lord stirred in Terry’s heart to achieve her wildest dreams and she pursued that one year later when she opened her own business, Yellow Door Book Store. She started as a pop us going to fairs and festival and ended up in a local shop on Calvert’s Main Street as a small pop in a permanent location.
The thing she has loved the most has been at the forefront of our business model - connecting multigenerational families with wholesome worthy beautiful stories.
Today we closed our bookstore. The Lord has called Terry back home to begin pursuing her masters degree in January. She mentioned to our children that she should become a librarian and our children retorted that wasn’t possible because Terrys voice was too loud. We all laughed and nodded in agreement.
We are looking forward to all God has in store for Terry and for our family. Thanks for helping make dreams come true by supporting us, cheering us on, visiting the store and recommending worthy stories. We will never forget you.
