For your consideration, the German piston F-tuba designed for US players, the Meinl-Weston 45S-LP. Like vintage American-made instruments, the tapers and response are such that even privileged tones are clear and in tune. For a large F-tuba, this tuba is quite agile. The 2nd slide trigger eliminates the need for a 6th valve.

This 45S-LP has a German SuperSac bag and the metal-clad flight case. The interior of the case is molded to accept the tuba in the gig bag.

Fully-serviced and ready-to-go, this serious performer will be available at the US Army Tuba-Euphonium Workshop Feb. 20-21.

Throwin' Down with "my Tribe" last weekend, 250-strong Western Kentucky University "Big Red Marching Band" and 250-strong BRMB Alumini Band, at the WKU - MTSU game at LT Smith Stadium in Bowling Green, KY. Total sousaphone count was about 26 of us!
