This is your personal invitation to take the drive & join us on beautiful Camano Island!

We're doing a "first Fridays at the farmhouse" fall drop party this Friday August 7th 5pm-7pm.

We'll have a fashion-show mingle: meaning 3 models showing the new outfits, we'll be serving Non-alcoholic drinks, and we'll have a raffle giveaway at the end of the night.

My friend Hannah of Hannah at The Slow Bite with also have a pop up, so go to her page to pre-order her dot cake! 🧁 (you don't want to miss!)

Lately I've been realizing that flowers are a natural way to keep track of the seasons.

When we bring fresh blooms into the shop, they remind us of what's happening outside instead of what's happening on the retail calendar.

Right now, the hydrangeas are full and beautiful. Summer is still here.

And yet, behind the scenes, we're steaming sweaters, unpacking new arrivals, and getting ready for fall.

I've been thinking about how both things can be true. We can prepare for what's next without rushing through what's now.

Maybe that's what the flowers are teaching us—to notice the season we're actually living in, while making space for the one that's coming.

So for now, I'll enjoy the hydrangeas, dahlias, the rose arches second bloom, the warmth of August... even as the shop slowly begins its transition into fall.

There's something beautiful about living in both seasons at once.

✨ FIRST FRIDAYS AT THE FARMHOUSE ✨

We’re starting something new at The Camano Shop—and we hope it becomes a monthly tradition.

On the first Friday of each month, we’ll gather at the shop from 5–7pm for a little new-arrival drop party. Think a small capsule of fresh pieces, an evening to shop, wander the house, catch up with friends, and be the first to see what’s new. Free drinks, live models/styling, and a gift basket drawing at the end of the evening

Our first one is Friday, August 7th, from 5–7pm! 🌿

Come celebrate the launch of our first First Friday capsule, enjoy the farmhouse after hours, and make a little time for yourself.

I usually focus on doing things I am naturally good at & avoid the things that are hard.

However, I am leaning into trying new things. Seeing flowers bloom at the shop is reminding me that the idea of growing flowers felt so overwhelming, but now it's totally fine!👌🌸

However, I had my Mom AND Kristin • Rooted PNW
Helping me, so that made it feel way more attainable. Thank you🙏🙏🙏.... and the Camano Shop team who all help to tend to it daily. It really is our community garden.

Every skill, every dream, every passion starts with being a beginner.

Maybe this is your reminder that you don't have to be perfect to start. You just have to be willing to try. 🌿

The schoolhouse has really shaken my confidence.

This dream has been so much harder than I ever imagined. There have been plenty of moments where I've wondered if I'm really capable of seeing it through.

But lately, I've been reminding myself of something important.

I've done hard things before.

When I look back at what The Camano Shop used to be, it was just an old house. It was an idea in my head, a dream I was chasing.

The schoolhouse is a much bigger challenge. But maybe that's exactly why I need to remember where I've been.

If you're feeling like I have lately... like your dream is just out of reach... don't only look at the distance left to go.

Look back.

Remember who you are. Remember what you've already accomplished. Remember the evidence that you are capable of doing hard things.

Then take the next step. 🤍
