Fall is slowly rollin’ in and I can feel it in the air! 🍂

I’m ready for green chile stew, cozy sweaters, penny loafers and those crisp mornings that make you want to linger over your coffee just a little longer. ☕️

In the meantime, we’ve got some pretty new things in the shop! Glass cloches filled with long-stem matches, autumnal tea towels, puzzles for rainy days, and yummy candles to bring a little hygge into your home.

Just a little nod to fall… because you know we don’t go too crazy around here. 😂

Eek! Okay. So this is dana rohlfs. Camas local. Artist. Potter. Singer. Photographer. And she just shines so bright!

She’s stunningly BEAUTIFUL, incredibly talented, and so genuinely down to earth. I’m honored to carry her ceramics at Poppy & Hawk.

I picked out A LOT! Teeny tiny vases, magnets, cups, bowls, trinket dishes and more. Her work is whimsical and organic, and somehow feels a little magical. She reminds me of a deeply rooted willow tree, quietly whispering in the wind. 🤍

At Poppy & Hawk, we don’t lean too hard into any holiday. We like to give a little nod to the season instead.

Why? Honestly, because I’m just not a “Happy Fall Y’all” kind of gal. 😂 I’m not big on overly themed or commercial holiday décor.

Instead, I like finding pieces that quietly fit the season. Beautiful colors, interesting textures, natural elements, a little warmth and maybe something slightly unexpected. Things that feel like fall without actually having to say FALL on them. 😉

Pieces you’ll still love when the season changes, because they’re simply good things.

That’s always been the Poppy & Hawk way: collected slowly, chosen with care… with just a little nod to what’s happening outside. 🍂

Summer is coming to a close and fall is in the air! Can you feel it? 🍂

I love summer! Fresh fruits and veggies, long days, and all the beautiful flowers in bloom. But autumn? Autumn is my favorite!

Those cool, crisp mornings. Sweaters. The afternoon warming up just enough before the temperature drops again in the evening. That first hint of coziness in the air.

And it’s starting to show up at Poppy & Hawk, too. Rich autumn colors, beeswax tapers, cozy candles, wool felt, botanical textiles and all those little things that make home feel especially good this time of year.

We’ve got some beautiful fall-leaning pieces in the shop right now. Come see them in person!

And we’re open late tonight for First Friday! Come wander downtown, pop in and say hi. I’d love to see you. 🧡

We’re so excited to have Puzzle Weekend ® POPPING UP at Poppy & Hawk this Saturday during the Camas Art & Vintage Faire!

Come say hi to Jenn, the owner of Puzzle Weekend, check out her collection, and chat all things puzzles. We’ll be open 9–4, so be sure to stop in while you’re downtown!

And it just happens to be my birthday on Saturday! 🥳 I’m taking the day off to hang out with my family, so sweet Isabelle will be holding down the fort at Poppy & Hawk.
