This month’s incredible sticker was designed by tyler 🦇 - Tyler blew it out of the park and I’m obsessed with our little bibliophile knight!!

Did this get your attention? Cool! Thanks, Brom!

WE ARE CLOSED UNTIL THREE TODAY! sick employees, sick employees kids, everyone feels like this fish(?).

BUT, it’s also Threshing Day, so if you preordered a book and/or you want to buy one of our unspoken for copies - James and I will be at the store for book sales and handouts from 9-11:30. No food, no drinks, i just can no longer run the food side alone with this 13 month old. Knock loudly, text, DM me.

Then we’re full service once again for our 3-7 evening shift.

Is this confusing? yes! Am I trying to make your life easier by making mine quite a bit harder? also yes! Please be nice, we’re trying our very best 😅🩷

Also, if you haven’t read Slewfoot by Brom (circa 1666, with all original illustrations BY BROM!!!) read it!

James and I got to play customer at the store today and it was actually fantastic. I’ve had a bit of a *rough* week, and my friends (whom I’ve met ALL OF at Bookish coincidentally) surprised me with a cheer up party today. I am so appreciative of friendship, and love and our badass community space where our kids got to not so quietly play. It was truly a joy to experience Bookish from the other side.

Haley, you are a queen.
