The project led to some thoughtful furniture rearrangements that ultimately left us with a big bare wall. This is always an exciting opportunity for someone who loves to decorate! Am I right? Hi friends! I hope you are safe and well! 💗 I know I have neglected this page and I apologize! Truth be told, I haven't spent as much time on social media over the past year or two, but have been enjoying Instagram a bit more these days. I thought I would share a fun IG activity that you might check out if you have an account. I think it's a fun diversion, especially for those of us who are missing shopping our local antique stores and thrift shops! It's called the Virtual Vintage Treasure Hunt. This is week #4 and I am just now jumping in...late to the party, as usual! I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed perusing all of the creative entries! Good evening, friends! I just completed my contributions for a local fundraiser, Little Art Camas and thought I would share them with you! 💗 I adore crowns and discovered the perfect little crown stencils for this project on Etsy. I started with a background, layering Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Original, Paris Grey and Athenian Black followed by stencil reliefs created with Artisan Enhancements VP Antico and finished off with more layers of Chalk Paint and Annie Sloan waxes in Clear, Dark and Soft Gold. 👑

All week people have asked, "Are you ready for Christmas?" No longer will I respond with a frazzled, "NO!" Did I get to all of the projects I had in mind? Did all of the cards get in the mail and the cookies baked? No, but the gifts are wrapped and under the tree, I've watched most of my favorite Christmas movies and listened to hours of festive tunes. I think I'm ready! Why do we put so much pressure on ourselves to do all the things? Time to sit back and enjoy the anticipation before it's time to clean up the torn wrapping and pack away the decorations. 💕
