I’m incredibly grateful to the Cambridge City Library for hosting a full‑month exhibition of my paintings throughout August. It’s truly an honor to have my work displayed in a space that celebrates creativity and community.

Opening night was unforgettable — thank you to everyone who came out, shared your enthusiasm, and made the evening so special. Your support means more than you know.

The exhibit runs through the end of August, and all paintings are available at special exhibit pricing for this month only. After August, prices will increase at future showings, so this is the perfect time to bring home a piece you love.

Stop by, explore, and enjoy the art — I’d love to hear what speaks to you.

There’s a little voice in my life who has a way of turning even an ordinary day into something special. Whenever we plan to do something — whether it’s a trip, a visit, or just a fun little outing — my great‑grandson counts down with so much excitement. And when the day finally arrives, he doesn’t just say it… he walks around telling everyone he sees, “Today’s the day!” with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen.

And honestly, that’s exactly how my heart feels right now.

Tonight at 5:30 PM, the doors open for my art show at the Cambridge City Public Library, 600 W. Main Street, and I’m carrying that same childlike joy he spreads everywhere he goes. These paintings have been months of prayer, color, quiet mornings, and moments where Abba Father whispered inspiration into my heart. Yahusha has guided every brushstroke, and now I finally get to share it all with you.

If you’ve been needing a reason to smile, to breathe, to feel something gentle and beautiful — I hope tonight gives you that. I’d love to see you, hug you, and celebrate this moment together.

So in his sweet little tradition…
"Today’s the day!!!!"
And I can’t wait to share it with you at 5:30.

🌾 “Storm Grey” — Available This August Only At this price

Some paintings hold more than a scene — they hold a season, a memory, a piece of your life.
“Storm Grey” is one of those pieces for me.

When I look at this barn, standing quiet in the glow of fall, I’m taken back to the days when my daughters were little. We used to take slow drives down country roads just like this — windows cracked, leaves turning, farms stretching out on both sides. Those rides were our gentle escape… the kind of moments that stay tucked in your heart forever.

This painting carries that same feeling: the warm reds and golds of autumn, the curve of a gravel lane, the steady presence of a barn that has watched generations grow. It’s fall in its purest form — peaceful, familiar, and full of home.

I didn’t have room to include it in my library show, but it’s here with me now. And for this August only, I’m offering the original at a special price of $200.
If someone feels that soft tug of nostalgia — that quiet recognition — they can message me, and I’ll meet them at the library so they can see it in person.

If this speaks to someone who loves barns, fall colors, and the quiet beauty of country roads, feel free to share it. Some paintings find their home the same way autumn finds the trees — gently, and right on time.

I was watching my little 18‑month‑old great‑grandson the other day, and a sweet memory washed over me — that was exactly how old I was when the desire to be an artist first sparked in my heart.

One of my early memories is when my adoptive mom went into the hospital for surgery and a babysitter stayed with me for a week. I know I was 18 months old because my parents told me that was how old I was when she had the surgery. I don't remember much, but one memory stays with me even to this day.

My babysitter probably thought she was just passing the time, painting a paint‑by‑number of a horse’s head while keeping an eye on a toddler. I can still remember where she was sitting, the different colors of paints in tiny plastic containers laid out of the table, and being told not to touch them. I remember everything — the smell, the colors, the quiet focus she had while music was playing in the background. I remember thinking, even at that age, I want to paint… but without the numbers.

In high school, I finally got the chance. I took art and loved every minute of it. And wouldn’t you know — my very first painting was a horse.

My prayer is that maybe my paintings, or even the little posts I share here, might encourage someone the way she unknowingly encouraged me. The babysitter never was around much after I was in Jr. High, so she never saw my oil paintings or knew how she affected my life.

It’s funny how we never know how our actions ripple out into someone else’s life. You don't know who’s watching… or how far a spark of beauty can travel. So I really want to encourage you, please don't let society dictate your pace, slow down and really make today count. You might just alter the course of someone's life by your simple actions.

✨ Something beautiful is happening this Friday! ✨

The Cambridge City Library will be glowing with color from 5:30 – 7:30 PM, and I’d love for you to be part of it. My new art show opens that evening at 600 W. Main Street, Cambridge City, Indiana, and it will run through August 31st.

Opening night always feels like the first breath of a new season — the paintings are fresh, the stories behind them are alive, and the room hums with warmth and laughter. This time, it’s extra special: the library offered me the space freely, so I’m passing that kindness forward. Every piece is priced lower than ever before — a rare chance to take home something that speaks to your heart without the usual gallery markups.

Bring a friend, wander through the colors, and let the evening carry you. I’ll be there, smiling and grateful, surrounded by the art that’s been quietly waiting to meet you.

Friday night, August 7th — come see what love and paint can do.

Hi there ❤️
I wanted to personally invite you to my opening night art show at the Cambridge City Library this Friday, August 7th from 5:30–7:30 PM. The library is located at:

600 W. Main Street
Cambridge City, Indiana

The show runs through August 31st, but opening night is always the sweetest — everything feels fresh, full of energy, and it means so much to see familiar faces.

This show is a little different for me. Most venues charge entry fees and high commission fees, and I usually have to include those costs in the price of my paintings. Because the library didn’t charge me anything, I’m passing those savings directly on to my customers. My paintings have never been priced this low, and honestly, I doubt they will be again anytime soon. So if you’ve ever thought about owning one, now is truly the time to buy.

Feel free to bring your friends, and if they enjoy art, please share my business page with them. I’m currently working on two commissioned pieces, but I’m always open to new opportunities and love creating meaningful work for people.

I ran out of room to display everything that’s on sale, so I’ll be posting additional pieces and special offers on my art page throughout the month. Keep an eye out — there’s more coming.

I’d love to see you Friday night.
Your support always means more than you know.

There’s a quiet kind of beauty tucked away in the places most folks pass without noticing — the bend of a creek, the hush of the trees, the old covered bridges that have watched over generations. My newest piece, “Quiet Creek Passage,” was painted from that feeling… the way a simple crossing can hold so many memories, so much calm, so much of the countryside’s soul.

This painting will be making its preview at an upcoming show, and I’m excited to finally share it with you. There’s something tender about this one — the red boards, the soft water beneath, the path leading into the woods like it’s guiding you toward a story you haven’t heard yet.

I’ll be posting more details soon.
For now, just a little glimpse of what’s on the way… a quiet passage, a peaceful moment, and a piece of home.

There’s a special kind of peace that settles over the ocean at night, even when the waves are restless. My newest piece, “Night Watch at Sea,” was born from that feeling — the way a lighthouse stands its quiet guard while the moon lays its soft light across the water. It’s a moment that feels both strong and tender, like the night itself is leaning against the light for comfort.

I’ve held this painting close for a while, letting it speak to me before I let it speak to anyone else. Now it’s finally ready to step out into the world. “Night Watch at Sea” will be making its preview at an upcoming show, and I can’t wait to share more about when and where. There’s something about this piece that feels like a story waiting to be told, and I’m excited for you to see it in person — the glow, the movement, the stillness, all woven together.

Watch for details soon. I’ll be posting updates as everything comes together. For now, I just wanted to give you a little glimpse into what’s coming… a painting that carries the quiet courage of a lighthouse and the soft beauty of a moonlit sea.

Some paintings aren’t just paintings — they’re pieces of a life, stitched together with memories, laughter, and moments you wish you could hold onto forever.

This one began years ago, back when I was still buried in accounting and hardly ever picked up a brush. A close friend, one of those rare souls who loved the quiet of the woods and the thrill of deer season, asked if I could paint something for him. I wasn’t painting much then, but for him, I said yes.

He would stop by while I worked, leaning over my shoulder with that familiar spark in his eyes.
“Could you paint a river birch? It’s my favorite tree.”
“Could you add this color? Maybe make the light fall just like this…”

Piece by piece, month by month, we built this painting together — his memories, his vision, my hands. It took a long time, but neither of us minded. Some things are meant to be slow, meant to be savored.

When he passed, his brother and sister‑in‑law kept the painting. Not because it matched their home, but because it carried him. His voice, his joy, his favorite places. You can’t buy that at Walmart. You can’t mass‑produce it. You can only create it with love, time, and the kind of connection that makes a painting feel alive.

This one is not for sale — it belongs to his family now, exactly where it should be. (sorry for the glare on the photo, but it is the only photo I took of it)

But if you have a memory, a person, a place, or a moment you want captured forever… I would be honored to paint it for you. Commissioned pieces like this become heirlooms — reminders of the people and stories that shaped us.

Message me if you’d like something created just for you. Let’s turn your memories into something you can hold onto.

Please like, comment and share this post with others. My prayer is my art and messages will be a blessing to others and lighten their day.
