Music has always been part of our story. Now, it’s part of our future.

Once home to a 10,000-square-foot record store, we’re reintroducing vinyl through our partnership with Somerville’s Vinyl Index at The COOP Concept Store. There, you’ll find a curated collection of 150 hand-picked records, each selected to shape the atmosphere of the space and paired with a Spotify playlist, creating a seamless connection between the music on the shelves and what you’ll hear as you explore.
Compiled by trailblazing DJs and crate-digging label heads, the tracks on these albums move beyond the expected while remaining universally inviting. From cosmic jazz and underground disco to Afro-funk, Brazilian boogie, Japanese rare groove, and Detroit deep house, it celebrates decades of independent music history through records chosen not by genre, but by feel, soul, and timeless groove.

Designed to evolve with future vinyl drops, DJ-curated collections, and live music events, the space celebrates the intersection of analog and digital. We believe the best stores aren’t just places to shop. They’re places to discover, listen, connect, and stay awhile.

Stop by The COOP Concept Store to explore the collection in person.

A morning of stories, smiles, and Seussian fun at The COOP Kids’ Club. We loved welcoming families for a reading of the brand-new Dr. Seuss book, “Sing the 50 States!” in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States.

As we journeyed through all 50 states with playful rhymes and colorful illustrations, the excitement grew even more when the Cat in the Hat made a special appearance, delighting the kids and giving everyone the opportunity to snap a few memorable photos together.

After the reading, young readers got creative with a festive coloring activity, and it was especially heartwarming to see so many families stay afterwards, reading together and discovering new books for their little ones.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We cannot wait to see you at the next Kids’ Club!
