MEET YOUR MAIN STREET — The Star Child Family Trading Company LLC

The Star Child Family Trading Company is one of the Cambridge Main Street District’s most unique shops.

With multiple vendors, under one roof, Star Child offers everything from clothing, hundreds of hand-crafted items, delicious chocolates from Church Creek Market, photography by Jill Jasuta, Fairy Scents by Loralie’s candles, and everything in between.

Mark your calendars for Friday, October 23, from 4-7 p.m., for the Star Child Spooktacular. Halloween Magical Games, mocktails, treats, Tarot Readings by Paige, and more! Kick off your Halloween festivities at The Star Child Family Trading Company, 440 Race Street, Cambridge. We think it’s a magical place, and are certain you will, too! 💫✨

We are so excited to be partnering with I Love Dorchester Heritage & Tourism and Cambridge Woman's Club to bring Fall-La La La La to the Cambridge Main Street District, on Saturday, November 14.

Cambridge Woman’s Club will be hosting a Holiday Market, with local vendors.

Cambridge Main Street will have activities happening Downtown, such as crafts for kids, Letters to Santa, AND, this will be the official kick-off for our annual Mistletoe on Main — SHOP ‘TIL YOU DROP!

For every $25 spent, at participating locations, you will earn a raffle ticket. The more you shop from Saturday, November 14 through Sunday, December 20, the more tickets you earn. Winners will be drawn on Monday, December 21. Stay tuned for a list of participating locations.

We just checked out The Kite Festival at Sailwinds Park, going on today until 5 p.m.

Cambridge Main Street is very unique, compared to other Main Street Maryland Communities, as it’s adjacent to the gorgeous Choptank River, and its miles and miles of waterfront.

Come out today and support this festival, which has been part of our community for 20 years! It couldn’t be a more beautiful day to fly a kite. 🪁🪁

Kites, vendors, inflatables, food and more! Plus, a very cute Highland Cow!

We would put our food and beverages, in Downtown Cambridge, up against anyone’s, anywhere.

Blue Ruin’s classic Maryland Crab Soup , served with house-made bread, and Crab Cake with a succotash of fire-roasted corn and red peppers, lima beans, and red onion, in white w**e cream are top notch. Definitely a unique spin on two Maryland classics, while boasting traditional Eastern Shore flavors you’d expect of local crab dishes.

Check them out! They have some new fall specials this weekend, too!

Walking through town today, we couldn’t help but notice how beautifully the October sun was cascading on the sidewalks of our historic Downtown, and the patterns the leaves were making, in the shadows. 🍂🍁

We were also struck by the beauty of the hand-crafted leather saddles and bags, on display at Malina Custom Leather. Do you spot that gorgeous messenger bag, in the window?

Each piece is stitched by hand, each piece tells a story of decades of craftsmanship.

This is definitely a must-see in the Cambridge Main Street District!
