It's time for our newest installment of MEET YOUR MAIN STREET, featuring Main Street Gallery.

Main Street Gallery's show, In Plain Sight, continues this month, featuring Michael Dougherty’s wonderful photographs, focused on amazing local wildlife, in addition to the members' art. This Saturday, August 8, come meet Michael and hear about his work, beginning at 6 p.m.

SAVE THE DATE -- Saturday, September 12, from 5-8 p.m., Main Street Gallery will be celebrating the work of guest artist, Jose Ramirez and celebrating the Gallery's 15th birthday as an artist-run co-op! The artists of Main Street Gallery invite you to stop by so they can say, "thank you," to their friends and patrons.

This event was so much fun last year that we're bringing it back!

In celebration of the Golden Girls' original premiere date -- September 14, 1985 -- Cambridge Main Street is once again hosting our THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND Second Saturday, on September 12.

Live music will be provided by local favorite, Anna Burgess music and we will have other fun activities planned to pay tribute to these fun, feisty ladies -- our favorite, of course, being Bea Arthur, who spent several years of her life in Cambridge. Fun fact -- she is even featured on our lovely "Women of Dorchester County" mural, at Main Street Gallery.

Poplar Street will be closed from 3-9 p.m. for this Second Saturday.
