After closing Avid Gardener at the end of July, I’ve had some time to reflect on just how special my years in that space were.
That little building became so much more than a shop. It was a place where I met wonderful people, shared my love of gardening, and have many memories that I’ll always treasure. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who walked through those doors and supported my business over the years.
Now that the ink is dry, the building is beginning a new chapter! I’m excited to introduce Heather and Chuck Franklin, the new owners. And I’m especially excited to share that Heather will be opening a w**e bar in the space!
I hope you’ll welcome them into the neighborhood and support their new local business with the same enthusiasm, kindness, and support you showed me. Small local businesses are built by community, and your support means a lot to a small business owner who is investing in our town.
I’m happy to see this special space continue to be a place where people gather, connect, and make memories. I can’t wait to see what Heather creates there!
Please join me in welcoming Heather and Chuck Franklin and wishing Heather all the best as she brings her w**e bar to life. Cheers to new beginnings!
