To our FA family… thank you. 🖤
These last couple of weeks have been truly bittersweet, but today especially has pulled on our heartstrings. Knowing that this was the last time Finding Avalon in Camden, DE would ever open its doors—and the last time we’d see so many of our friends and familiar faces here at 102 South Main St.—has been a lot to take in.
This season comes with a lot of lasts. While it can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and scary, it’s also exciting, rewarding, and filled with so many amazing firsts.
Many of you have been asking what the plan is for the coming days, and the truth is, we’re not 100% sure. We’ll likely dip our toes into the world of antique malls, and maybe somewhere along the way, we’ll partner with someone or open something small of our own. For now, though, we plan to go wherever the wind takes us.
We truly believe in the idea that “what should happen, will happen,” and that’s what we’re carrying with us into this next season of life.
We’ll share updates as they become available and keep everyone here in our FA group posted on all the newness and fun we’ll be getting into in Williamsburg. The page and phone number will remain the same.
We truly cannot thank you all enough. This dream would never have become a reality—or grown as much as it did—without each and every one of you.
So, for now, this is a “see you later.” This is a new season and a new chapter, and we can’t wait to share it all with you in the coming months.
