🕶️📚 That’s a wrap on Find Waldo in Camden!

What a fun afternoon celebrating with our amazing Waldo hunters! From completing the month-long Find Waldo scavenger hunt to playing Waldo Bingo, enjoying Waldo cupcakes, and celebrating our prize winners, it was the perfect way to end another incredible year.

Congratulations to Bailey, our First Palmetto Bank Grand Prize Winner! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who participated throughout July and to our wonderful local businesses for making this community tradition possible. Every passport completed, every stop made, and every smile shared helped celebrate the importance of shopping local in Downtown Camden SC 😍

We loved spending the summer with you—and we can’t wait to see where Waldo pops up in Camden again next year!

🎉 MURAL REVEAL 🎉

Walk into Books on Broad these days and you’ll be greeted by something new — a burst of yellow blooms, wings mid-flight, and a landscape that tells a story thousands of years in the making. Our mural is finally finished, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it.

The piece, painted by local artist Sarah Kerfoot, brings together three symbols of South Carolina’s natural heritage: the golden yellow jessamine, the striking Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, and towering longleaf pines — echoing the ancient pine savannah landscape that once covered this land, long before it was ever called South Carolina.

It’s been such a joy watching this piece come to life, and we can’t wait for you to see it in person. Grab your favorite coffee, find a cozy corner, and take it all in. ☕📚🦋

This Independence Day, we join our community in celebrating America’s 250th anniversary—honoring our history, the people who have shaped it, and the stories still being written every day.

We’re grateful to be part of Camden’s story and thankful for each of you who supports local businesses and independent bookstores.

❤️🤍💙 Books on Broad & Coffee will be closed Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, so our team can celebrate the holiday with family and friends.

We’ll reopen Monday, July 6, refreshed and ready to help you find your next great read (and favorite coffee).
