Lara Langston is backing Pringle Iowa and ready to get involved in a community event.

We know that many of our customers are some of the most generous quilters in supporting charitable organizations around the world, from pillowcases and backpacks to clothing and quilts.

Lara Langston is back home in Pringle, Iowa. Ever since she moved into Nana's victorian house in this quaint small town, she has made an effort to live the community-focused life that her Nana did.

And that includes work on the committe for the annual Community Potluck. What seems like a harmless community event will propel Lara into another mystery... this time with family ties. Don't miss the upcoming Pot O' Luck mystery!

As you live the week ahead, take time to be in the moment, to notice what’s around you and to measure a successful week by the moments you’ve enjoyed.

A neighbor’s yard has had two big toad stools. As I come and go, it has been fun to note the changes…and the ‘birth’ of two more this past week. One day three toadstools were perfectly round - looking like golf balls lined up on tees. Today two of them looked like umbrellas, appropriate in the rain, but the third one had its edges turned up and the 4th one was totally tipped over. Can’t wait to see what entertainment they provide this week!! 🤣🍄😍

Ah, August…time to soak up summer’s sun and enjoy some quiet time. Lara Langston is doing just that as she finishes up her Surf’s Up quilt. What are you working on?

We’re working on our Surf’s Up quilt, samples for fall classes, and a couple of in process ‘creative’ projects.

Lara is back home in Pringle, soaking up the sun and enjoying some quiet time before her next big quilting trip with Quilting Adventures.

Our byline has been ‘your journey begins with a single stitch’ since we opened in 2010. It is absolutely amazing where those stitches have taken us in the last 16 years and the incredible stitchers we’ve met along the way. Every single stitch not only matters but makes us pause regularly in gratefulness for each one! Thank you for joining us on our journey!😍❤️😊
