I received so many likes on my patina bunny I decided to make another.

DIY cheap bow maker: Dollar tree peg board thingy.. wooden dowels.
I had to add tape as the dowels I had were a bit too small. I went and found a little bit larger dowel to fit in the holes but left the tape on for a more snug fit.
These things sell for like $25 I paid $3 total.

While I’m still trying to figure out my last craft (canvas paintings from family paint night) I decided to work on this book I picked up at goodwill. It had some writing about 25 year anniversary with wedding rings (fake) tied to the book marker.
I painted over the face with joint compound and some moss green paint- (which matched perfectly with the moss green chalk paint already painted on the other pages)
I crackled sheep skin chalk paint on top of the moss leaving some green showing and mod podged two different hymns on the face. “Old rugged cross, and “our Easter hymn”. I whitwashed the pages and used a variation of kills sealing wax and bronze paint to distress the face.
The ends of the pages already had bronze so I used some dry brush sheep skin chalk paint and kills sealing wax to age it, went back over with more bronze.
I wanted to pull another color in so I used rose gold metallic acrylic paint to accent the Lilly, tag and dove wings. Added a new book mark tassele out of ribbon, sweet annie and some thin bronze wire topped with a dove.
I’m horrible at before pictures but this is a huge change from how I bought it. And I love how it turned out.
