WHERE’D YA GO? 🐾 It seems I’ve taken an unplanned break from Brindle Market’s social media account, and I’ve missed you!
Brindle Market has been a much-beloved project of mine for the past 6 years. During the last few of these my life went through a dramatic transformation.
I went from living in the tech industry with my passion project Brindle Market (regularly doing pop-ups and my online business), to focusing an unusual amount of effort on managing doctors appointments and symptoms.
… from a wonderful and busy job to being on long term disability…
… from easily walking (often with my dog!) to now needing a wheelchair…
… from having the energy to do so much, to needing to rest constantly…
I don’t know where this leaves Brindle Market. I’ve been so thrilled to bring cute clothes to my animal rescue community, as well as educate and empower those who love animals! I’ve also loved flexing those small business muscles and being part of the entrepreneurial community!
So for now, brindlemarket.com remains up, but I’m not adding any new designs. And this account is going to just chill a bit. I’d love if I found the energy and means to revisit it sooner than later.
In the meanwhile, if you’d like to learn more about the disease that is affecting my life, you can visit .
I have ME/CFS, otherwise known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. You are also welcome to follow my personal account, , although I caution it is less about animals and more about being sick. I have struggled with the major transitions in my life. One of the quotes that has helped me most, by Joseph Campbell:
* We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned so as to live the life we have waiting for us *
So for now, see ya later. ❤️ Cathy
