In an effort to monitor and prevent the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD), Kentucky Fish and Wildlife has implemented a special antlerless season for zone 1-3 counties within the CWD Surveillance Zone.
This season (Sept. 25-28) is in effect for the following counties ONLY:
Ballard, Breckinridge, Calloway, Carlisle, Casey, Fulton, Graves, Hardin, Henderson, Hickman, Laurel, Lincoln, Marshall, McCracken, Meade, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, Union, Wayne and Webster.
Fi****ms, bows or crossbows may be used during this season, but only antlerless deer may be harvested. Zone bag limits and hunter orange requirements apply, as do mandatory sampling requirements.
