✨️ Hi! My name is Amy. ✨️
In 2010, I started Inglenook as a soap business. Rich wasn't entirely convinced my little idea would go anywhere. In 2014, we added candles, and the rest is history.
A few things you may not know about me:
🧵 When I was younger, I enjoyed quilting. The ladies in my bridal party each received a handmade lap-sized quilt as a gift.
🪴 I jokingly say I have the 10 black fingers of death as it relates to growing plants. That's not too far from the truth.
🚗 I can drive a stickshift. And on most occasions I can back up a 16 ft trailer.
🎨 I would like to make time for painting pictures. My painting style leans towards folkart, which is not my intention. But, I just go with it.
💡 Most days, my brain has a zillion tabs open. I recently told my son, "I'm the idea person."

To everyone who shopped with us yesterday -- Wickenburg (AZ), Landrum, Campobello, and online -- THANK YOU! More than anything, we hope you enjoy your treats. Please know we are grateful for each kind word of encouragement, your shared stories, and your generous purchases. Your sustenance means the world to our family. I cannot thank you enough.
The cats, like the remainder of the family, are unhappy with the heat. Oliver 🐈‍⬛ is happy to curl up on someone's bed for the day, in the air conditioning. Gingy 🐈 loves to be outside, but is starting to appreciate the alternative benefits of having the OPTION to stay in the air conditioning. He hasn't fully committed yet. We'll see how long that will last.
I am home today. Sarah would like to run a couple of errands this morning. When we return home, I'm going to categorize and wrap books. Our Blind Dates with a Book have been well received. I have begun wrapping books for the fall/holiday season. Blind Dates coupled with a candle make a great gift. If you have a reader in your life, keep an eye out for our Blind Dates which are a part of our new Book Nook section of our booth.

We furnish each room of our home with intention. Furniture is selected according to size, color, comfort, and how it fits the overall look of the space. Likewise, rugs and lighting are chosen to meet the needs of the room — durability, color, brightness, and scale all matter.
