Every summer has a few signs that it’s officially here.

Patio drinks.

Staying outside longer than you planned.

Buying an amount of peaches that would concern a financial advisor.

The Peach Truck is only joining us three more times this season:

🍑 July 19 at our Summer Market at Polaris
(tickets on sale now)

🍑 July 31 at Little Golden Hour

And then peach season at NYMCM is officially over for the year.

We are simply making sure nobody realizes this in August and gets upset with us.

apparently 1,626 new people showed up in the last month.

which feels like a good time to explain who we are before things get weird.

hi. 👋

we’re Chelsey and Carrie, and 13 years ago we started a tiny craft market.

somehow that turned into this.

over the years we’ve watched people meet friends, discover favorite artists, start businesses, buy engagement rings, get tattoos they’ll have forever, and build entire traditions around showing up to our events.

which is still a little wild to think about.

at the end of the day, we’re not really in the business of craft markets.

we’re in the business of giving cool people a place to find each other.

the markets just happen to be how we do it.

that was a very good idea.

little golden hour is back this summer and friday night felt exactly like the kind of night we hoped it would.

people spread out across the lawn.
dogs making new friends.
cocktails in hand.
tattoos happening.
makers everywhere.
the skyline showing off for absolutely no reason.

thank you to everybody who came out, shopped small, hung out, brought friends, brought dogs, and made the first market of the season feel so special.

now let’s do it again.

a very good reminder that columbus is full of cool people 🌇

every month a bunch of artists, vintage curators, bakers, tattoo artists, plant people, collectors, dog owners, cocktail drinkers, and professional dillydalliers somehow find their way to the same place.

and every month it feels a little bit like magic.

people run into old friends.

people meet new friends.

somebody discovers their new favorite maker.

somebody finds the exact thing they didn’t know they were looking for.

dogs make important social connections.

and for a few hours, everybody is exactly where they’re supposed to be.

and that’s almost as magical as the sunset views.

same time next month?

we’ll do it all again the last Friday of the month now - sept with a new mix a makers and the same great vibes.
