The bite is as hot as it gets on Oneida and my friends Bob n Val experienced it first hand. Thanks guys, enjoy those fish frys!

We fished harnesses and targeted the suspended fish. I had a livewell full of regurgitated shad so any cranks in resemblance should work as well! Good luck to everyone this weekend!

John and Shawn got a nice box this morning. We trolled in 32-40 fow. 3oz BBs with worm harnesses at 1.2mph from Lakeside Outfitters was the ticket in various patterns with pinks and chartreuse. Thanks for spending your morning with me!

Tuesday we got out and put the boots to some walleye and perch. Quick limits of walleye with the Berkley Rawler in multiple colors and ROTJAW casting harnesses in perch and mayfly patterns with a 1/2 oz weight. Our recommendations, find weeds in 8 to 12 foot of water and cast at varying angles to cover as much area as possible. Video shows us using the ROTJAW harness. Pictures included in the comments.

The Lakeside Outfitters 2026 Youth Angler of the Year. Tate Maciag.

A couple weeks ago we were talking about kids that love fishing. Tate came to mind. During our Walleye Tournament this year he tagged along with his grandfather Randy Streeter for all three days. Last week, Tate put the smackdown on Lake Erie walleye using a kids combo he won from our Walleye Tournament. We created a framed award certificate for Tate and gave him a gift certificate for the store. Tate has been on the lake at least 15 times this year. What a trooper.

We will continue to honor this award on a yearly basis if we see worthy anglers. The future of our fisheries is in the hands of those much younger than most of us. Keep fishing youngsters, we encourage you, and will do all within our power to help you along the way.
