I have been sharing the supply donations in the stories, but today I was so overwhelmed by everyone's kindness that I needed to post pictures of the extreme generosity from local friends, family and community members. I am truly touched, thank you.
*we are about half way there with hitting our goal of supplies!!!

Hi Candor friends and neighbors! We are having a school supply drive for the Candor back to school carnival and trunk or treat. We NEED crayons, glue sticks, markers, erasers and pencils! If you could go to our registry and help know a few boxes off we would be forever grateful.

We also need about 15 ppl to help us with the trunk or treat by handing out supplies from their cars. This was such a great event last year and really helped get the young students excited to go back to school.

Today is the day! The Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga FRESH Food Truck will be at the Resource Center of Candor Farmers Market serving up lunch today from 11 to 1:30 or until gone. Please remember there will be a limit of meals per person.

Good morning had by all :)

We are having another swap party! Looking for teen girls to come help sort through our teen girl inventory and take home some great outfits for school. We have to limit our numbers due to space so make sure to RSVP through messenger.

Oh boy, we are starting to get ready for the Candor Back to School CAR-nival and Trunk or Treat for school supplies. The CCC&B and Candor PTSA are teaming up again this year to make getting ready for back to school fun for Candor students.

Gratitude post. We just had our 1st back to school shopping for Candor families and a back to school clothing swap/giveaway open to all families in Tioga County. I have to thank everyone who came in for free clothing bc you sorted your donations by size, kept the shelves neat and left us with smiles on our faces.
We had 40 Candor kiddos, 5 Outreach kids get clothing this weekend. And we will have 1 more shopping day in September b4 school starts to get more outfits.
Our tioga county clothing swap had 18 families participate (didn't get a head count on kids). You moms rocked it! Not only did you come prepared with clothing sized but you all had no qualms about separating warm weather/cold weather clothing for us as you looked for items for your kids. Most bins were overflowing and ppl left very happy. Thank you all
And I obviously need to thank those who help make this vision a reality. Thank you to everyone who donates to us. Without generous community members there would be no CCC&B. Thank you Karen Waite, Eva Robinson and Emily Kelsey for helping manage the crowds on shopping days. Eva, I literally wouldn't have been ready without your help organizing and putting clothing out on the racks. I am also in debt to my hubby for hanging lights and sun shades to help better the CCC&B. Thank you all so much!
