Be honest—did you think it was real corn at first? 🌽

These primitive harvest corn pieces were finished and packaged by hand as part of one of the wholesale orders leaving Jane’s Farmhouse Finds.

They’re the kind of simple, old-fashioned fall pieces that can be tucked into dough bowls, baskets, crocks and primitive displays—and every cob has its own wonderfully timeworn coloring.

Cattle walking along the skyline, the sun setting behind the fields, crickets singing and one final moo in the distance.

There could not have been a more perfect ending to an August evening on the farm—or a more beautiful glimpse of the real country life behind Jane’s Farmhouse Finds.

The pumpkins are leaving the farm by the boxful. 🎃

These are only some of the primitive pumpkins I’ve been finishing for wholesale orders. Each one is sewn, stuffed, aged and decorated by hand before heading to an independent shop somewhere across the country.

I didn’t capture as much content as I planned—but when the orders are this large, finishing them comes first. 🖤

Seeing my handmade pieces chosen for other people’s shops still feels incredible.

This is only some of the primitive pillows I’m currently making for orders. 🖤

Each one is cut, sewn, stuffed and aged by hand before I add the final primitive details—and there are still more waiting their turn.

Seeing this many handmade pieces lined up at once is a little overwhelming…but mostly it makes me incredibly grateful that customers and retailers are choosing Jane’s Farmhouse Finds for their shops and homes.

I can finally say it: I’m a published author. 🥹

All three of my books arrived today, and holding them for the first time feels completely different from seeing them on a computer screen.

Each one comes from a different part of the life I’ve built:

🐓 Chicken Journal—a simple lined journal created for fellow chicken lovers

🍂 A Primitive Country Autumn—a coloring book inspired by the warm, old-fashioned fall style I love

✏️ September Writing Prompts—created from my experience as a certified teacher and homeschool mother

I have spent years making products with my hands, teaching my children, raising animals and building Jane’s Farmhouse Finds. Now pieces of that life exist inside books that other families can hold, enjoy and make their own.

I’m still taking that in.

This is only the beginning of Jane’s Farmhouse Books—and I cannot wait to show you what is inside each one.

Hat 1: torn, aged fabric ties
Hat 2: wispy Spanish moss

Both are handmade and aged for that old, timeworn farmhouse look—but that one little finishing detail gives them two completely different personalities.

Which would you put in your home: 1 or 2?

One witch-hat Reel led to all of this. 🖤

After receiving both Etsy and wholesale orders, my worktable quickly filled with handmade witch hats in two different styles.

Each one was stuffed, decorated with timeworn fabric or moss, and individually aged before being boxed and sent to its new home or retail shop.

One little primitive witch hat has certainly kept me busy. 🖤

After sharing my finished hat, both retail and wholesale orders began arriving—and this is now the situation on my worktable!

Every hat still needs to be stuffed, aged and finished with all those timeworn details that give it its primitive character. I’m so grateful to everyone who has ordered and supported my handmade business.
