Sometimes volunteering doesn't require us to dress in time period clothing it just required us to be everyday visitors which we would always take a chance to do because we love this place so much and love being able to help.

There is just something special about Americana decorating season 🇺🇸

Flags, candlelight, old quilts, weathered wood and pieces that feel like they've been part of the home for generations.

These nesting boxes are one of my newest additions and fit perfectly into primitive, colonial and farmhouse decorating styles.

Which room would you display them in?

Confession...

These almost never made it to my Etsy shop.

When I found this pair of antique Abraham Lincoln cast iron bookends, I seriously considered keeping them for myself. The rich patina, the weight, the history—they're exactly the kind of pieces I love having around the farmhouse.

But that's the challenge of being a vintage seller. Sometimes you have to let the good ones go.

If you've been looking for a unique piece of Americana, these antique Lincoln bookends are now available in my Etsy shop.

Would you have kept them or listed them?

🪡 One of the questions I get asked most often is how to create that aged, primitive “grungy” look on fabric.

So I put together a simple primitive tea staining guide for anyone who loves early-American, primitive, or farmhouse style decor 🤎

Primitive style isn’t about perfection — the uneven color, wrinkles, and worn look are what make it feel timeless.

Feel free to save this for later if you love primitive decorating and Americana style 🇺🇸

Perfect for:
• muslin
• pillows
• fabric
• bowl fillers
• Americana decor
• primitive crafts

You can grab the free guide through my Linktree.

I also shared part of my own process in today’s video 🇺🇸

Some of the best primitive pieces start with a simple cup of tea ☕🪡

Tea staining gives new fabric that timeworn, early-American look that makes primitive decor feel cozy, handmade, and lived in.

This is one of my favorite parts of the process.

More Americana and primitive handmade pieces are coming soon to my Etsy shop 🇺🇸

I put together a simple printable guide showing exactly how I do it here in the farmhouse 🤎

You can grab the guide through my Linktree and watch the process here in today’s video.

Some pieces aren’t meant to feel brand new.

Hand stitched and inspired by early American homes, this one has that simple, timeworn Americana look I always come back to ❤️🤍💙

Perfect tucked into a dough bowl, layered onto a bench, or added to a cozy corner.

Available in my Etsy shop.

🇺🇸 There’s something about simple Americana touches that never go out of style.

These hand-stitched 1776 pillows feel like something that could have been passed down for generations — tucked into an old dough bowl, layered onto a bench, or added to a cozy farmhouse corner.

I’ve been leaning into timeless Americana pieces this year and these might be one of my favorites ❤️🤍💙

I found this 1950s Skotch Kooler and instantly pictured summer picnics and farm days gone by ☀️

Solid metal. Built to last.

Pieces like this just aren’t made the same anymore.

Headed to my Etsy shop… but this one is tempting to keep.
