I’m sorry for the extra silence from me 💔
With the heaviest hearts, I am sharing that our sweet Sadie crossed the Rainbow Bridge today.💔
If you ever met Sadie, you loved her!
She’s always been such an amazing girl. She loved to love ❤️
In 2020, Bob drove 4 hours each way on Mother’s Day to rescue her for my mom. She had already lived a hard life, but she found safety and love with her. After losing my mom in 2021, Sadie became ours — a living piece of her, and a constant reminder of that love.
We later learned just how much she had endured before us, and it made us even more determined to give her the life she always deserved.
From a timid, broken soul who barely lifted her head, she became the biggest love bug — she loved going to the lake, stealing shoes, loving kids, and loving everyone with her whole heart.
She spent her life surrounded by love, comfort, and family — exactly what she always deserved.
Words can’t describe this sadness.
Sadies smile were contagious, she was ALWAYS such a grateful soul ❤️
I take comfort in knowing she is reunited with my mom again, wrapped in the same love that saved her.
Run free, sweet girl. Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for loving us. You will always be part of our story. 🤍🐾
We love you forever and always tater tot 💔 The sweetest , kindest, loving being I’ve ever been lucky enough to know ❤️
