Spoon River Scenic Drive - Canton is getting BIGGER!

Can you believe more than 8,000 people came through Canton for Scenic Drive last year?!

With that kind of turnout, we’re growing the event to make room for even more of the vendors, makers, artists, food, and small businesses that make Scenic Drive so special.

This year, we have more space! With Opera House Plaza and the downtown street closure added to the event footprint, we’re able to accept more vendors than ever before.

FULTON COUNTY ARTISTS & CREATIVES ➡ THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR YOU!

Are you an artist, maker, musician, photographer, writer, performer, or other creative living in Illinois?

Illinois Arts Council (IAC) is accepting applications for the FY27 Creative Accelerator Fund, offering $10,000 awards to support Illinois artists and their creative work.

Award: $10,000
Deadline: October 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

One of the unique aspects of this opportunity is that artistic quality and past accomplishments are not evaluated. Eligible recipients are selected through a randomized drawing process with funding allocated by IAC region.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! Despite the weather, some Farmers' Market vendors are setting up in the gazebo this morning! McCombs Family Farms will have green beans, onions, potatoes, eggs, zucchini, okra, and more! Kaylee's Cupcakes and HB Bakery will have sweet treats for sale, too. So, bring your umbrella and shop the gazebo! Thanks for supporting the Farmers' Market!
