*appointments are helpful Specializing in fine quality instruments, Rodger and Robert Stearns work in the violin shop full time. In addition to making instruments, professional quality restoration, repair and maintenance services are provided to customers.

This beautiful violin had humongous peg holes that needed to be bushed, so I spent the day bushing, cutting the bushings flush with the peg box, and retouching the finish. It turned out pretty good, and tomorrow I can drill new peg holes and install the pegs.
