Knitspot owner and designer Anne Hanson, a life-long knitter with a background in the fashion and graphic design fields, began designing clothing, knitwear and accessories during the 1970s. Anne, who teaches and writes about knitting, spinning, and designing at her blog, http://www.knitspot.com, lives and works in Ohio with David, who loves wool, too. It’s officially fundraising season, and our Annual Holiday Fundraiser is HERE! This year, we’re knitting for a brighter future with our Harmony House Fundraiser, benefiting Harmony House in Akron, Ohio! “We have housing , so they have hope”

We’ve put together a special collection featuring yarn, patterns, an eBook, and more! From now through December 31st, all proceeds raised through our fundraiser will be donated to Harmony House to support their mission of ending youth homelessness.
