Shop 4th Street Downtown

We hope you stop in and visit all the 4th Street shops when you come downtown to enjoy the Canton Farmers Market and the Stark Pride Festival!

Tomorrow is a big day in Downtown Canton! In the morning, from 10:00am - 1:00pm, the Canton Farmers' Market will be on 4th St NW

And then from 1:15pm - 9:00pm, the Stark Pride Festival will be happening.

You can visit both event pages for more info, but here’s a combined map that shows the basic footprint of both events. Keep in mind that roads will be closed to vehicle traffic in the areas where the events are taking place.

We hope you stop in to see us when you come downtown for these events. As always, there will be a free make and take craft project for anyone to enjoy!

We hope you plan to attend the “Tomatopalooza” at the Canton Farmers' Market this Saturday, Aug. 30th, from 10:00-1:00!

We hope you’ve been enjoying the Canton Farmers' Market this summer. This Saturday, Aug. 30th, it’s “TOMATOPALOOZA!” day at the farmers market!

The word “Tomatopalooza” brought back memories of gardening with my Dad. Every year we’d browse the garden seed catalogs, earmarking all the pages that had varieties we wanted to try. We’d always end up with too many tomato plants and then WHAM this time of year we’d be buried in tomatoes. TOMATOPALOOZA!

I talk about my Mom frequently as being the inspiration behind Cantonology and Freeda’s Footsteps. But my Dad was equally inspirational. He could build anything… and he thought I could do anything.

So, Dad was the inspiration behind this week’s “Tomatopalooza!” Freeda adventure. We will be posting the story pages here on our FB page daily up until Saturday. Then stop by Cantonology on Saturday during the farmers market from 10:00-1:00 and grab the link to download the entire story as a coloring pages .pdf file.

In exchange, would be awesome if you brought in a tomato themed canned food (or monetary) donation for the Stark County Hunger Task Force so that Freeda can help them with their food drive! The Stark County Hunger Task Force will also be at the farmers market this week.

But even if you don’t currently have the funds to donate, stop in for a link to the coloring pages download, and enjoy all the fun at the farmers market and all the shops on 4th Street.
