First attempt at dyeing a deer mount, so we’re officially calling Sundays experiment day around here. No clue exactly how this is going to turn out, but that’s half the fun. Taking something ordinary and seeing just how weird, dark, and untamed I can make it.

Trust the process… or at least enjoy watching me figure it out.

Went to an estate sale before work Friday because apparently I have zero self-control when it comes to finding things that need a second life.

I found this porcelain beauty with a hole in her back, but I immediately saw the potential. I’m going to repair her, completely transform her, and turn her into the gothic queen she was clearly meant to be.

She may have started out a little broken, but she’s about to come back darker, stranger, and way more powerful.

Stay tuned for the transformation.

These babies are FAR from done. I’m officially in the painting stage now, and knowing me, it’ll probably take me all week to finish them.

Layer by layer, detail by detail… watching something that started as an idea in my head slowly come to life is my favorite part.

Can’t wait to show you the finished creations.
