I can’t say thank you enough to those that shopped with us this Canton show. It’s been so fun being here the almost 9 years but now it’s time to change gears. I know we will be back to empty out the storage unit but have no idea when that will happen. We’ve made some great friends and met some amazing customers along the way. I’m sure we will see you again when we come back to shop or sell what’s left in storage. And don’t forget we will be in Round Top starting next month. Hope to see you down the junkin road!!

I often wonder why I’m so drawn to certain things… like these German Pull Toys/Rocking Horses from the 1800’s. Maybe it’s because they are just really cool toys that were kept and passed down so many years later. Or maybe it represents a fav time period. I do often wonder what it would have been like to have lived during this time.

Things made during the 1800’s to early 1900’s were made well and well loved, they showed great pride in their creations and I’m sure seeing the pure joy on a child’s face was worth everything it took to make them.

I just know I’m happy when I find a special treasure and can save it and pass it down sooner or later…
