We just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone who has supported Slayton Pyro from day one. Whether you’ve hired us, shared our posts, recommended us to others, or simply cheered us on, we truly appreciate it.
A special thank you goes to our crew. Most people only see the show, but they don’t see the long days, late nights, and all the work that happens behind the scenes to make it possible. We couldn’t do this without each and every one of you.
This first year has been better than we ever imagined, and we’re excited to keep growing and putting on even bigger and better shows.
Thank you all for believing in us. We can’t wait to see what the next year brings! 🎆❤️

As we wrap up an unforgettable Independence Day weekend, everyone at Slayton Pyro would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the City of Dumas and the City of Canyon for trusting us with the honor of producing your community fireworks displays. It was a privilege to help celebrate America’s birthday with both of your amazing communities.

A very special thank you goes to the City of Dumas for making the Dumas fireworks show possible, and to the Canyon Chamber of Commerce and the Canyon Economic Development Corp. for making the Canyon fireworks show happen. Your support, dedication, and commitment to bringing your communities together made these incredible celebrations a reality.

To everyone who came out to watch, cheered us on, and shared in the celebration—thank you for making all the hard work worthwhile. Seeing families and friends gathered together under the fireworks is exactly why we love what we do.

We also want to thank all of the first responders, city staff, volunteers, law enforcement, fire personnel, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make these events safe and successful. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed.

We look forward to creating even bigger and better memories in the future.

Thank you, Dumas. Thank you, Canyon. 🇺🇸

At Slayton Pyro, safety is our top priority. Every show we produce is carefully planned with the safety of our crews, first responders, and our communities in mind. We ask everyone attending to do their part by following event guidelines, being respectful of those around you, and leaving the fireworks to the professionals.

Here’s to 250 years of freedom, patriotism, and community. We’ll see you under the fireworks!🎆🎇

Unfortunately, after careful evaluation by Slayton Pyro, the Amarillo Dragway management team, fire safety personnel, and the Fire Marshal, tonight’s fireworks show has been canceled due to excessive wind speeds.

This was not an easy decision, but safety will always be our top priority. We have a responsibility to protect our crew, spectators, property, and the surrounding community, and we believe this was the safest and most responsible choice.

We understand many of you were looking forward to tonight’s show, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment. We are hopeful that another event can be scheduled in the future to make up for tonight’s cancellation.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and respect for this decision. We can’t wait to bring you some incredible fireworks shows in the future.
