The next full moon will be on Thursday, December 23. The December full moon is typically known as the Cold Moon, Strawberry Moon, Honey Moon, and Rose Moon. The moon will be its fullest at 12:49 p.m.

Full moons are not just visually awe inspiring but they also create highly charged events. It is a wonderful time to renew, replenish and rejuvenate yourself and your crystals.

Crystals absorb energy, from their immediate environment and, if you frequently handle them during healing practices they can absorb negative energies, it is because of this that they should be cleansed regularly.

How do you cleanse/charge?
Place your crystals under the moonlight (when darkness falls), don’t worry if its cloudy or foggy, your crystals will still pick up on those beautiful cleansing moon rays. It’s best to place stones on another natural “earth” surface like dirt or wood. Ideally you should bring stones in before full daylight, the main reason for this is so that your brighter more vibrant coloured crystals (for example Amethyst) will fade in sunlight.

What if you cant put them outside?
That’s fine, you can leave them in a window where the moonlight streams through.
