Does anyone here know a momma who has experienced infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, or SIDS—and doesn’t currently have a child in her arms to hold?
If so, would you please tag her in the comments or send her my way. This Mother’s Day, I’d love to put together a few baskets for women who are carrying this kind of quiet, heavy love.
I struggled with infertility for many years and walked through multiple miscarriages. Even though I was blessed to eventually adopt my son, the years before him made Mother’s Day incredibly hard. It’s a kind of ache that doesn’t always get seen or acknowledged.
So this year, I just want those women to know—they are not forgotten. They are still mothers in every way that matters, and they deserve to be seen, loved, and held a little extra close. #2026

You know those moms in your life… that are not technically your mom… but you still have to acknowledge them on Mother’s Day so you don’t look like a terrible human?
Yeah.
I’m talking sisters, aunts, bonus moms, godmoms, your best friend who basically co-parents your sanity… all of them.

Hey everyone! 💕
So I tried to have a little fun last night with my 7 truths and a lie game… and well… only one person played 😂 BUT shoutout to you Evie! you got TWO spots on the wheel for the big basket because we appreciate participation over here 👏🎉
I realized I haven’t really introduced myself yet, so here’s a little more about me!
My name is Tricia, I’m 39 (turning the big 4-0 next month 😳), and I’m married to my husband Danny. We recently relocated to the west coast of Florida—Cape Coral—for work, but we’re originally from the east coast, a small town called Fort Pierce.
I wasn’t able to have children of my own, but my husband and I fostered and ended up adopting a teenage boy named Aiden—who has definitely contributed to my gray hair 😂—but he is absolutely my whole world.
Now for the game… the lie was that I was an extra on The Vampire Diaries. RUDE, I know 😅 I’m a huge fan, and I did visit Covington, GA where it was filmed and saw all the real-life spots—but sadly, no acting debut for me.
Which means… everything else was TRUE 👀
✔️ I got knocked over in Times Square by Dane Cook (yes, really 😂)
✔️ I met Pink at a concert with front row seats 🤯
✔️ I was on a reality show called Extreme Dental Makeover (did hair, makeup, wardrobe, and interviews), but it got canceled because of COVID—which honestly… I’m a little grateful for lol
✔️ I’ve been in multiple commercials (thanks to the dentist from the show!)
✔️ I saw the Atlanta Braves play in the 2021 World Series—and yes, I got on a plane for it even though I’m TERRIFIED of flying 😬
✔️ I went bungee jumping at Old Town in Orlando years ago… and yes… I peed my pants on the way down 💀
✔️ I fell off a horse and broke my wrist/arm, and now my wrist is basically metal 🦾
And on a more real note…
I’ve had four miscarriages. I deal with anxiety and depression, and I’m pretty sure I have undiagnosed ADHD. I’m also slightly sarcastic, extremely awkward (like laugh-at-the-wrong-time awkward 😅), and just a little weird—but in the best way.
I’m really hoping to make new friends here and grow my little side business, so I truly appreciate every like, follow, and share more than you know ❤️
