Like a lot of you, I’ve been thinking a ton about the recent business closures in Cape and Jackson, especially seeing The Ground About shut its doors. It’s tough to watch, and honestly, it hits close to home.
The economy has been hard on everybody lately, and running a small business right now is no walk in the park. But even when things are tight, local businesses are always the first ones asked to step up, whether it's donating party passes, sponsoring youth sports, or helping with school fundraisers. At Bounce Around Cape Girardeau and River City Inflatables, we always try to say yes and support our local kids whenever we’re asked, because this community means everything to us.
The reality is, local businesses can only give back as long as the community is able to support them. Every time you bring your kids in for open play, book a birthday party, or rent an inflatable, that money stays right here and keeps our community vibrant.
