Happy Snare Drum Saturday! Today’s feature is the Ludwig Classic Porto-Pak model. What made this snare unique was its 13” diameter. According to the 1957 Ludwig drum catalog, “The smaller head diameter is less affected by weather changes or air conditioning found in most night spots and hotels.”
