A little “then and now”

Our December 2025 vision is becoming a reality. With the repointing of the entire building complete (with support from the NY Forward program), the outdoor space at The Fig and Fox 1858 is coming along. Next year the café tables will be out in full force!

This little spot is open to all —
bring your bag lunch, your coffee & newspaper, and your grandchildren to play chess or checkers. You get a little peek of the River, and a front row seat to the comings and goings of Cape Vincent. Sometimes it’s wonderfully peaceful, but it’s never boring!

One little housekeeping note: the stone area belongs to The Fig; the lovely grassy area beside it is my neighbor’s, so please stay on the stone and help us be good neighbors!
