Surprise! It's not only our waist bands that are expanding during this pandemic! Yes, GiGi's is expanding, too! First off, we have broken out of our section of the magical blue cabinet at Country Gypsy (118 N. West Street) and are now in a wondrous white one where you can actually see the items and pick them up (without fear of breaking some cardinal rule of sliding a cabinet door without proper supervision)! I will be adding some items there this week. I will also be taking photos. (Sorry in advance for my lack of skills) Secondly, we are now also located at It Is What It Is (190 Carlinville Plaza). More items will be added this week & as time goes by. Time constraints & physical stamina prevented more to be done on the official set up date. But, hey, two locations within 11 months...not too shabby! 😁

Now we know why I never became a photographer. 😁 Just some I took during yesterday's visit to the shop. It gives you an idea of what you will find. Make sure you come visit Country Gypsy soon! Don't forget the sidewalk sale continues tomorrow!!

Lots of new items added! I've taken new necklaces (including more of the rainbow quartz & the ones with the glow in the dark stone pendants--blue, purple, green, & even and orange). Today I refilled the magnet board (now located in the hall before you enter the main room). We have STL Cardinals & Blues, some Chicago Cubs & Bears, horses, butterflies, Baby Yoda, Star Wars, Mickey & Minnie, tie-dye, etc. (I added about 3 dozen new ones today. LOL) I also took up the first dozen decorated drinking vessels...coffee cups, water bottles, glass mugs, large lidded drinking glasses. We have everything from CHS, CAVIES, butterflies, kittens, to humor. There is something there for everyone. The next trip up (possibly in the morning) I will be refilling the keychains...Harley, Cardinals, Cubs, Cavies, horses, Baby Yoda, Star Wars Hard Rock Café, etc. There will be even more goodies coming now that we are allowed to visit our favorite places to be! 😁

Yes, I know it's early but I wanted to catch you before you made all of your plans today! The Carlinville Christmas Market will still be going on today on & around the square, at the mansion (they still have goodies & pies, plus all the handmade items), and I do believe the plaza still will have things going on out there! So, if you didn't make it to out Friday evening or yesterday, you still have a chance today!
