Just a little flower nerd heaven 🌸

One of my favorite parts of being at the Society of American Florists convention this week is getting to see what growers and breeders from around the world are bringing to the industry.

More than 3,000 stems are on display for the Outstanding Varieties Competition , new varieties, incredible colors, unusual textures and some seriously beautiful product.

There’s something pretty inspiring about seeing what’s new, what’s coming next and just how much beauty can come from one little stem.

Here are a few that caught my eye.

Friday night plans, anyone? ✨

We’re switching things up for our next creative night at MSF! Mary from True Colors Art Glass is joining us for a night of glass art, drinks, snacks + a little after-hours shopping.

You’ll create your own 4”x4” glass piece and choose whether it becomes a night light, votive holder or garden stake. No experience needed. Mary will walk you through it!

Fresh blooms just arrived, and our designers are already dreaming up something special. From velvety garden roses to cheerful spray roses, snapdragons, and hydrangeas... we can't wait to turn these stems into arrangements that make someone smile.

Summer isn't over... but you can feel a new season just around the corner.

This arrangement brings together soft neutrals, rich burgundy blooms, peach roses, and touches of blue eryngium for a look that's both fresh and timeless.

Okay, Carlinville… apparently we weren’t imagining it. 😂🎄

We’ve been saying for YEARS that our little town looks like it belongs in a Hallmark Christmas movie and now Carlinville has officially been named one of the TOP 25 finalists in Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Towns Contest! ❤️

And if we win?! Carlinville could have the opportunity to serve as the filming location for a future Hallmark holiday movie. 🎬🎄

Can you even imagine?! Our square. Our little shops. Christmas lights everywhere. And obviously Main Street Florist casually waiting for our big Hallmark movie debut. 😂🌹

Now we just need our little town to do what it does best. SHOW UP!
