Now the big news in Lott-A-Wood turning shop. I have up graded my lathe from an old 1980's sears craftsman 12 x 36" lathe, with a 2014 central machinery 12 x 33" variable speed lathe. So the size is the same. However the new one has ability to do what they call outboard turning. That means I can turn bigger bowls with the headstock turned sideways.

Hey yall, so I decided to take a step up in the woodturning and do something I have yet to do. Im sure youve seen things in similar fashion as this, but here it is. Feast your eyes on this flamed live edge bowl. It may be small, but it turned out gorgeous. Small pc of Bradford Pear with the bottom ran over with a torch and the inside left alone.
